Draught at ABR, 2009. They managed to get the ginger in the aroma and flavor. Wheat in there as well as coriander. Medium palate. Fairly light palate, which is good, for a beer like this. A few extra points for the effort and taking a chance.

On draught during the Autumn Brew Review in Minneapolis, MN. Pours a hazy golden straw colored brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma is close to P&G Ivory soap, ginger, a hint of coriander and some golden grain malt. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of golden grain malt, coriander, and Japanese gari (the pickled ginger that is served with sushi). Finish is semi-sweet, crisp with a short lived ginger and coriander aftertaste.
