This is a medium to light bodied, copper colored ale. The pleasant hoppyness comes from East Kent Golding hops. The clean aroma helps balance the biscuit and caramel malts used in this English country ale.

Half pint cask pour at the brewpub in St Paul, Minnesota. Pours is a hazed golden orange with a loose off white cask head. Aroma is pleasant soft and fresh earthy floral hops, along with a mild toasty malt. Nice fresh nose, just faint. Taste is a really nice balance between the earthy floral softly bitter hops and the toasted malt - simple clean and fresh. Palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation, mild bitter finish - along with some unique yeast notes.

Sampled during ABR ’07 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pours a golden pale amber brew with a a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and white ring. Aroma of light bready malt, some citrus zest and a touch of caramel. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of light caramel malt, some floral hops and a touch of green vegetables. Finish is semi-bitter and dry with a light caramel malt aftertaste.

Draft @ Brewpub: Bronze, nice head and lacing. Nose of vegetal hops and biscuity sweet malts. The flavor is nicely hopped, more on the nose though. Finishes robust and malty with a clean very British feel to it.
