Yorkshire-Style bitter, very floral with a hint of chocolate and emphasis on aroma.

Pours slightly hazy golden amber color with a couple inches of white foam. Good lacing. Mild sweet malt in the aroma. Light honeymalt flavor with a medium floral hop finish. Mellow, light body, smooth drinking, and very softly carbonated.

Cask. Semi-translucent and lovely nectary orange in color with a grey glacial sheaf topping it off. Aroma is well derived from chestnuts, mild marmalade mixed with light molasses and brown sugar, ginger chews rolled in amber rock candi, and a rustic, edible dust at the cuffs. Delicate flavor pulls with a spruce accented bitterness, transitioning to an orange toffee crème body. Supple carbonation gives a mild life to the light cocoa, hazelnut and caramel-like concoction. Moderate orange candied grahams make for a medium-bodied simplicity, but it’s fairly well done. Caramelized willow wheat plucked from the fields is met with a mild English hop bitterness for a charmingly clean finish.

Terribly bland, timid and BORING. No head, no bitterness, no substantial mouthfeel that I can remember and again, that watered down texture. But I did taste that strong floral hoppiness that I find in almost everyone of their beers.

Clear copper. Fruity, citric nose, no real hops. Flavor is a bit woody and nutty, some lemon. Toasty at the end. Could use some more depth.

In the cask at the Brewpub. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL POUR!!! Gorgeous golden-colored cascading ripples undulate down to the bottom of the pint glass. Truly a spectacular site to see this in yellow. Caramel aroma. Smooth palate. Rich complex tasting beer with lots of esters. The bitterness is flavorful and mild. The tongue coating from this is delightful.

faint aroma (barely) of floral hops and light grains. No taste on front of palate. Creamy mouthfeel, long sweet quiet finish. Good with food.

Clear, light amber color, substantial white head. Amiable aroma, light, slightly hoppy. Taste: sweetish, smooth, perfectly tasty, mild, but not without it’s rewards. Slight fruitiness, little bitterness, a quite adequate ESB, an able take on the style. A medium body, crisp finish. Nice drinkability, a good session brew. When you need a solid, if unchallenging brew at the pub, this one will do.

Cask sample. Clear dark honey, with sour berries and wet grass dominating the nose. Honey’d, slightly alcoholic (surprising but gratifying in this case) mild flavor, moderately sweet; light hops late, apple juice with pepper. Interesting bitter.

Amber Coloring. No Head. Hops...not very flavorful....expecting more punch...or ’bitter’ ...pretty watery on the flavor end.

Cask. Dark gold with zero head. A little bit of hops on the nose and taste. Very little bitter taste to it. Seemed pretty bland to me.
