Backlog: On draught during the Winterfest 2009 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Pours a deep brown almost black with a tan head that does have a red hue. Strong cherry aroma with a hint of chocolate and coffee. With the strong aroma, one would think that the cherry would overpower, but I was hit with the chocolate and subtle hint of coffee, before the sweet cherry aftertaste. Much more of the sweet Maraschino than the more tart cherries.

Black color. Not as intense as their pear or passion fruit. Real cherry in the aroma and flavor, just a little sweet. Low carbonation and thick and heavy on the palate.
