A honey coloured ale “The Bees Knees” is brewed using Mexican orange blossom honey which complements the natural orange flavour produced by the First Gold hops. Refreshing, rounded, soft and very drinkable.

Cask-conditioned at the brewery tap, the Rising Sun, Frampton Cotterell, S Gloucestershire. Amber coloured with a slight off-white head. Slightly subdued aroma of caramel with a hint of honey and floral hops. Flavour began sweet, before a more rounded honey flavour came through, giving way to a decent dry finish. More a bitter with a dash of honey in than an out and out honey beer, and none the worse for it.

Cask Stillage at the Memorial Hall, Northwich Beer Festival 19/09/2008 Hoppy aroma. Golden fruity and a little sweet on the palate with a crisp and bitter lasting malt finish.
