I think of a pale lager when I drink this...not pale ale, so I will rate it as such. Faint aroma of grains...sweet toasty grains up front with a mild bitter finish. Pretty good.

On tap. Crisp golden pour with a fizzy white head that left a ton of lace. Aroma of wheat and straw. Crisp fizzy beer with a clean taste of lemon, wheat, straw. Loads better than generic crap like Canadian or Coors.

Draught. Clean gold with a thin head. Light metallic malt aroma. Thin citrus fruity flavour, malty finish.

Pours pretty pale. Not too much going on here for hops. Itís a very malty beer, more malt that hops. Not much balance. Very drinkable but not memorable,

Aroma: light aroma, very light hop aroma with a fair bit of sulphur presence Taste: very light beer, mostly bland flavors. Very subtle bitterness at finish..almost a watered down alexander keiths taste Appearance: cleat gold body with a thin fading head

Another day another lager. The only thing original about this beer is in the name. Aroma dme and corn. Taste dme and corn with a bit of fruity hop esthers. Seriously macro brewers change it up and at least come out with blond ales.

Tap. Pale straw. Bland and inoffensive. Nothing that fits a pale ale. As others have noted, more of a blonde.

Pours Clear gold, looks like a blonde ale or Pale Lager. It tastes bland, but itís Inoffensive and very drinkable. Very light citrus hops, some grainy malt, overall not much complexity. Iím surprised to find this under the "American Pale Ale" category here. I donít know if thatís just going off the label and RateBeer hasnít corrected it yet, it definitely closely resembles a lighter blonde ale.

Certainly not an APA. A weak blonde, at best, and even then, sheís probably had work done. Plastic surgery jokes... The Joan Rivers of blonde ales. This has the same weak connection to pale ale that Alexander Keiths and Labatt keep masquerading. This works as a plain-jane blonde, light malt character with hardly any hoppy overtones. Pours clear, golden with a bubbly weak white head. Nothing offensive, but nothing to write home about.

Tastes like another average lager. Better than the black label at the Cambie here, but not really worth the extra $2 for a pitcher though. Pours blond.
