Cask-conditioned at the brewery tap, the Rising Sun, Frampton Cotterell, s Gloucestershire 29/08/2011. Clear, pale gold with a billowy white head. Lemon, hoppy aroma with a touch of creamy malts. Flavour had more lemon, some balancing malt and a dry finish with a hint of lime. Good.

Clear medium amber yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, dusty, nutty notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dusty, light wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111208]

Cask at Pigs Ear. Slightly hazy pale gold beer. Little white head. Light semi dry palate. Okay pale malt with fresh but very mild citrus. Dry finish. Okay.
