2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 dkazuk (248) - winnipeg, - JUN 7, 2008
341ml bottle.
Golden beer with a good sized white head that slowly fades. Smells of weak malt and grains. Similar flavour, a little sweetness, slight bitterness in the finish but mostly tapers off to nothing. Med body. An above average cheap macro.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Powertrip (844) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 1, 2012
Single can purchased from a mom&pop store in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on 06/01/2012. Colour: medium-light yellow with minimal white head. Nose: Immediate blast of dirty-dishwater. Quite grainy and some actual hop presence. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium-light sour. A sweet-malt entrance the some light bittered hop play coats the back of the mouth. A bit sticky but a decent grain after taste.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 pushkinwow (867) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 13, 2012
On tap. Clear golden yellow with a white head that fades quickly. Caramel and corn. Thin, sweet, slightly dry, very much like a macro.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 reebtogi (2191) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 13, 2012
341ml bottle pours pale golden color with a white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing on the glass. Aroma is light grains with some floral hops. Taste is light hoppy bitterness with little malty sweetness and a decent clean finish. Unfortunately, this is the best that this brewery has to offer and is just slightly better than a typical macro.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 GT2 (3970) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 8, 2011
341mL in Saskatoon, SK. The pour is a clear, lemon yellow with no head formation and no lace. Nose is very muted floral hops and weak lemon zest. Taste is suddy, soapy, with buttery biscuit. Suddy palate. Not recommended.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 sinkhole (258) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 3, 2010
Bottle. Pours golden with an above average white head. Aromas of hops and malts. Taste is crisp, mainly of sweeter malt and some wheat notes, a subtle hop finish makes this a slightly better than average Pil.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 sseb69 (890) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 5, 2010

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Narnad (1147) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2009
Pours from the bottle a clear golden color with a thin white head that fades down a thin film pretty quickly. Aroma is a full, grainy and sweet malt note with some floral notes and a very light apple sweetness at the very end. Flavor has a strong grainy note, some mild noble and floral hops in the flavor and a light fruity ending. Very clean tasting with a medium body, thin texture and very high carbonation. Overall not too bad of a pilsner, just a bit of a watery flavor at the end of a the tasting.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 5, 2009
A Mes rate. Can at home thanks to The Cad. Yellow gold with a thin but surprisingly well behaved head. Pale malt, faint bitterness, no corn or card or anything else I was expecting. Surprisingly ok.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Vertical Bacon Strips (1699) - Asshat, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 14, 2009
Consumed at some craphole at Circle Drive north and Hwy16 in Saskatoon. Standard straw yellow with some bubbs, decent white head with lots of lacing all the way through. Aroma was quite weak but what was there was wheat and a touch of skunk - nothing offensive here at all. Taste was pretty good but 100% standard: Grain and dusty malts, faint apple bitterness during the sip only. Mouthfeel was too rough with an overabundance of carbonation. Weak, but lasting bitterness - finishes dry. Light bodied. There ain’t nuthin wrong with this beer. Classic Canadian pilsner taste. Why give Molson & Labatt money when you can give it to Great Western?

Can from the bosses, had at mes’s gaff with harry. Alround rating: Initially im amazing by the lack of any flavour whatsoever, but i went back for another sample and its not bad infact, pale lager malts are biscuity and the hops are balancing. Its inofensive anyway.
