Amber and clear. Has an off-white head, mostly lasting. Heavy caramel aroma, notes of lactic acid too. Flavor is thin compared to the aroma, faint sweet, light acidic. Watry texture.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Biggish light brown shiny head. Deep dark red translucent body. Fruity vanilla fudge aroma, mellow and harmonic. Dry roasty buttery vanilla fudge taste with fruity caramel notes. Mid-bodied. Dry fruity metallic roasty aftertaste. Fruityness clashes with the metal, and really spoils it for me. (0.5l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A fairly traditional Scandinavian Christmas beer. Lots of sweet malt, caramel malt to give color.
Some spicy hops, sweet finish.
If you want to boast of brewing craft beer, you should be a bit more inventive than this.

[Draught, Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen, 2002] This is a very good bottom fermented brew. Very malty and full bodied. Slightly spicy and fruity and rather complex. I was lucky to try the draught version of this brew. All of this beer is bottled except for six barrels which was made available on draught. Den Tatoverede Enke in Copenhagen got one barrel.
