Test vom 2.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,10,12,12,11 - 11,15

Bottle, thnx to LoFi. Pours a light hazed, copper colored beer with a small, off white, beige head on top. Aroma has big vineous and fruity characters and some influences of Port and Madeira. Flavour is medium sweet with big red, ripe fruits is there and some nutty notes. Watery mouthfeel and medium short finish. Nice doppelbock.

7.9% about 40 SEK. A very dark brown, almost black with a thin head that quickly disappeared. Rich malty sweet aroma. A slightly boozy malty beer, some bitterness in the finish. Not terribly complex. It’s  a fairly good dopplebock I think but not all that special.

Mörk rödbrun med ljusbrunt skum! Mycket malt o lite för söt för min smak! Ok öl!

330ml bottle from a trade with Cunningham! Huge thanx maaan!!
Pours adorable ruby red with small creamy head. Smell has some roasted malts, candy sugar and dark fruits. Starts with lots of dark fruits, some caramel and chocolae, with some roasted malts. Middle part has lots of mildly coffee notes, paired with some sweet chocolate and bitter roasted malts, with lots of caramel. Goes into a strong vanilla-coffee’ish finish with lots of sweet caramel and chocolate.

Klar brun-röd öl med fast latte färgat skum. Doft: Bränt socker, blommor, humle, nöt kola. Smak: Bränt socker, avslagen Cola, blandade torkade exotiska frukter.

Bottle from Systembolaget, may 14th 2013. Amber body, just a tiny disappearing head. Aroma of roasted malt, fottee, forest fruits. Taste of chocolate, fruit, bubble gum, and a high alcohol taste. Spicy and roasted. Finish of red wine and chocolate, a bit strange beer.
