330 ml bottle from 2002 - Murky bronze-brown body with almost no head. The aroma has hints of raisins and choclate but obvious oxidation hampers things. THe flavor is simialr, raisins, cocoa, and carboard. Watery, thin very attenuated mouthfeel with little evident residual sugars.

33 cl bottle. Clear, deep amber body with medium to big, thick off-white head. Aroma is malty with notes of dark fruits, chocolate, roasted malty, toast, caramel, cellar, spices and a little hops. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter and lightly sour/tart. Some light vinegar. I suspect that something has gone wrong or that my bottle is heat damaged. Medium bodied with quite high carbonation. Overall, OK bock but something weird about it.

Edit: No, this is a drain pour. Absolutely damaged in some way, taste’s really off. Lowered taste to 2 from 5 and overall to 9 from 11.

RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. 2000 vintage, ABV is 8.1%. Hazy brown colour, low head. Surprisingly pale for a doppelbock. Sweetish bakery aroma, some alcohol. Flavour is cloying malty sweet and one-dimensional. Disappointing. Drank it too warm though.

Bottle. Brown color with no head. The taste is a sweet body with a thin palate. Slight alcohol notes. Rather boring.
