Bottle from Systemet Strömstad. Deep ruby. Lots of malt, some rasted grain, a hint of burned toast, dry bitter finish. Fruity elements, too. Elegant beer, Way better than their standard range of lagers.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2012 Bottle. Dark ruby red colour, with a beige head. A lot of caramel aroma, also some sweet fruits and roasted barley. Flavour a lot of the same, malty, raisins and a bit hoppy. A well done easter brew! My favourite from Grebbestad.

Pours ruby mahogany with a great creamy head leaving nice lace. Good carbonation, Aroma is nice; fruity, very malty, hoppy, fresh dark bread, earthy and hay. Medium crispy mouthfeel. Malty, sweet fruity, tart hoppy, some dark fruits and raisins. Medium tart palate. Finishes with a nice, not too heavy, tart biter and dry aftertaste.

Bottled (thanks TM!). Reddish ambery colour with a mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is mild nutyness, some rye bread as well as mild sweet malts. Flavour is roasted malts along with some mild rye as well as mild chocolaty and dark dry fruity notes. Pleasantly balanced, and quite drinkable.

Provdatum: 2009-04-03

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a golden deep amber and clear glare, light tan head. Aroma is roasted breadish. Roasted and breadish flavoured, light caramelish. Bitter and roasted flavoured into a mild roaste and slight bitter flavoured finish. Lingering breadish and caramelish impression.
