3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From the brewery bar on 7/6/13. Cloudy appearance, citrus aroma, helluva hop bite. Long spicy finish with a pronounced peppery note ("it actually stings, said my companion). Only (?) 5.5% abv but the heavy hop character made it taste stronger than that. Summary: very lovely indeed.

Tap and growler, haven’t tried the cans. Good off white head on a golden beer, no suspended partials and really smart hops. A great balance between resin and biscuit hops, flavours on a great beer tast that lingers on the palette. One of the best Aussie beers from a fantastic brewer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From can in IPA glass. Pours crystal clear amber with frothy head. The piney/citrus aroma is reminiscent of a West Coast IPA. Hop forward and lingering bitterness on the palate. Solid.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Green Beacon, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is fresh, with lots of piney hops and just enough biscuity malt to back. Robust and piney. Refreshingly vibrant for an Aussie IPA. Really nice.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can (375ml). Clear amber with a dense stable white head. Aromas of tropical fruity hops, pine resin, orange peel and toasty biscuity malts. Taste is similar with a robust malt bill and a resinous dry hop bitterness. Nicely balanced palate with a medium body and lively carbonation. Good stuff.

From a can. Great example of style, everything you’d expect from an IPA, big hop punch, huge tropical fruit aroma, fantastic!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
375mL can from Slowbeer.
Pale copper body, holds a dense cm of white foam.
Good hop aroma - resiny leafy, woody, pine, citrus rind, biscuit malts in good check.
Slick of the palate, medium-to-full bodied, carbonation spot on.
Packs plenty of citrusy, piney hop on the body. Some light caramel, biscuity sweetness in there. Fair whack of bitterness, smooth finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
375 ML can
Clear orange amber color, good long lasting bright white head. Bits of spotty lacing.
Nose is quite nice. Good tropical fruit nose with pine and orange peel. Quite vibrant nose with a good caramel backbone.
Taste is orange, orange peel, assertive pine. Real nice malt backbone.
Lighter medium bodied, medium carbonation. Good resin in the mouth. Lingering oil and bitterness.
Really nice IPA. Ticks all the boxes. One of the better one’s to come out of OZ

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Clear pale amber with a white head. Aroma of oranges, pepper, pine, biscuit. Lightish bodied. Some tropical fruit as well as biscuit, modest orange and grapefruit notes, some resin and a fair bit of pepper at the moderately bitter finish. Not sure this has canned all that well, seems a bit tired.
