COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
“There’s a lot going on in this beer with two yeast strains, copious amounts of wheat malt, and a big focus on ‘C’ hops to deliver a citrus explosion,” explains Green Flash Brewmaster, Chuck Silva. “In fact we lined up more than a dozen hop varieties in the brewery to select three hops with the biggest citrus character to dry hop the beer. “This golden beer pours with beautiful, frothy white beer foam that lasts due to bottle conditioning. Gently rousing the yeast that settles in the bottle will result in a fuller texture and a more cloudy white appearance. The citrus aromas that jump from the glass are largely tangerine up front with other types of citrus notes that mingle with the Belgian yeast esters. Hop flavors of bitter orange zest dominate the brew and linger to the finish with a nice play of American and Belgian yeast combo.” A beer with so many components can be held together with a “Linchpin”. The official “Linchpin” of this beer is the skillful collaboration between the two breweries to create a unique hop-forward brew. Linchpins are symbolic: two simple shapes that combine to strengthen a bond amongst many different pieces.

Cloudy orange-ish head, big white head - in fact it was kind of a gusher. Smells citrusy, vaguely herbal, and a bit woody. Flavor is nice bits of citrus, bits of savory herbs, and some citrus as it warms.

Yellow pour with white head and lace. Aroma is a citrus/saison aroma for me. Earthy and citrusy. Citrus hops, floral notes, dry malty finish. Medium body with good carbonation. Unique to say the least

Solid wheat aroma with some citrus, lemon, cloves, banana, black pepper???, and yeast. Almost reminiscent of a hefeweisen. Flavor brings out the hops a little. Different.

Light color. A little sour smell, wheat taste with slight hoppy crisp finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with a fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, some spiciness and wheat and light fruits, and caramel malts. Flavor the same with a good amount of hops and malts to balance it out. Average texture. A pretty interesting IPA.

Slightly hazy golden with a foamy/rocky head. Nose of slightly sour orange zest and clove-y wheat. Flavor is nicely hoppy bitter with acidic citrus zest, spicy clove, and a dry clove and dusty finish. A little bitter but I still like it.

Pours gold-yellow with a big, white frothy head. Aroma is amazing; incredibly floral; citrus, pine, caramel. Taste is citrus, pine, caramel sweetness. Great full flavor. Superbly balanced. Medium carbonation; nice for the aromatic hops. This is a really excellent beer from two incredible breweries. It tastes wonderful and is incredibly balanced. This beer truly wins in the nose. The aromatics are worth the whole bottle. If you see this in stores, grab a bottle.

Beautiful hazy golden yellow appearance with a frothy sudsy white head. Nose is citrus and fresh florals, quite pleasant. Taste is citrusy and pine, and light and drinkable, Finish is bitter sweet and short, carbonation medium with a mild to moderate texture. Flavorful, would not expect anything less from two great microbreweries. Quaff Score 9 / 10
