A golden sweet and fruity pale ale. Pretty enjoyable, especially for the young’uns looking for their training wheels.

This one poured a light orange color with an off white head. Aroma was citrusy and grassy hops with pale malt. Flavor was pretty similar, mild fruity notes and grassy noble hops with mild caramel malts. Ok.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 philipmeese (53) - Rowayton, Connecticut, USA - APR 16, 2013
Pours golden with minimal head. Aroma a huge orange hit. Flavor follows with that single note somewhat balanced with hops/bitter. Finish mellow with lingering fruit. Overall i am not a fan of overly fruity brews so I’m off this one.

Pours a light golden orange with a thin white head. Aroma of bitter hops, lots of grapefruit and a slight malt profile. Taste is all hops, big hop bomb yet light and easy to drink. This is great.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 neuromatt (858) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 19, 2013
On tap at the brewery, served in a tasting glass. Pours clear light amber with a small white head that fades to a thin remnant. On the nose there are nice subtle piny and resinous notes, along with biscuit malts and caramel. The flavour is balanced between slight sweetness and slight bitterness, along with caramel, flowers and pine. The finish is moderate in length and somewhat piney. On the palate it is medium in body with a smooth, milky texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a decent pale ale but it felt a bit too light; it could have used some more assertiveness from the malts. 2013-03-17

1/25/13 notes: draft. Pours light orange, straw with white lacing. Aroma and clean: floral, grapefruit, mild pine. Flavor is clean hops, zesty, minor malt profile. Very classic dry, west coast finish. Pretty run of the mill, but super fresh.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 peteinSD (958) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 3, 2013
On tap. Golden pour with a slick of white foam. Aroma is bitter hops, pine, and some sweet malt. Taste is heavily bitter with pine and a fairly dry malt backbone that shows a bit of sweetness. Clean, slightly coating mouthfeel. This is an IPA and a nice one.
4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jstraw (1654) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Clear orange-gold with big, foamy, white head / Bright, smooth nose of weed, pine, citrus, and cream / Medium body, creamy with big hop bite, fruit somewhat overpowered astringent with lots of bitterness in finish / Flavors of orange peel, grapefruit, and cut pine / A solid ipa, just a little disjointed.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 bhensonb (8995) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA Pours light amber with a creamy white head. Med body. Aroma is citrus and a bit "wheaty". Flavor is somewhat malty with fairly strong hop - more citrus than anything else. It’s a pale without the strong roast malt of many pales - but more than expected in an IPA. Hybrid. Dry and bitter with some grapefruit rind in the finish. Very nice drink.
