4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap @ Stone. Pours a deep amber-red, clear with a nice white finger head which is very beautiful froth...lace is stringy and runs with only a little bit of stick. Aroma distinctly piney/spruce. Taste is true to nose, hop-forward, light-medium body, an excellent SD County Pale Ale. Finish is a tad astringent, but in a good way...saps the moisture in your mouth a tad, and you pucker at the bitter goodness. Very impressed with Green Flash these days...they know how to get mileage from their hops!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lovely golden pale ale. Stronger & heftier than I would like for the style. More of an IPA than a Pale Ale, though maybe not bitter enough for a full-on west coast IPA. Nice Pale Ale, I could just have handled less (in terms of alcohol & fullness)

Tap. Grassy, grapefruit hops. Earthy. Dry. Hop forward, nice balance. Tasty, hooppy, decent balance, if a bit astringent. Would drink again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at The Monk. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is big on citrus. Get lots of lemon, apricot and grapefruit. Quite a good blend. Flavour presents lots of citrus and sweet fruits as well as a bitter hop finish. Taste more like an IPA. Good pale though

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draught at Pizza Port in Solana Beach. Clear dark golden color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and fruit. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops characater, with notes of malt and citrus. The finish is dry and hoppy with a short fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at Mad Mex Robinson. A boring and bland APA. Aroma was distant and weak. Light citrus and stale leaves. Pour was a clear orange/medium gold with a near white film for a head. Taste was weak and boring. A light mix of grass, earth and caramel that never really comes out. Light carbonation. Blah

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled on draft at D’s in Monroeville this beer poured a bright dark orange-amber color with a large creamy beige head that faded quickly and produced incredible lacing. The aroma was faint caramel, pine and grapefruit. The flavor was bitter, dryish and tangy with notes of harsh pine and grapefruit and a faint caramel undertone. The finish was long, dryish, harsh and bitter with lingering pine and grapefruit. Medium body. Ok.
