30th Street Pale Ale is a strong pale ale that is well dry-hopped making it taste like an IPA by many hop headís standards. The beer was brewed to recognize the synergy behind the craft beer culture on 30th Street in San Diego and was released for the Green Flash 6th Anniversary Celebration.

650ml bomber pours a golden color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is pleasant with pine and citrus with floral notes and hints of caramel. Taste is a bold citrus and pine hop bitterness with an underlying malty sweetness. Light to medium body with good carbonation. A very well done American Pale Ale that definitely pushes the boundaries of being an IPA. Highly recommended.

Really nicely done. Pint pour of crisp golden with full white head. Nose is clean citrus and light pine notes. Flavor is juicy and lightly earthy, some grapefruit, crisp. Lighter body, easy drinking.

Bottle. Holy freaking Citrus. Like an orange bomb. An overly hoppy nose with am aggressive hop flavor. Just the way I like it.

A hazy copper beer with a small white head. The aroma is fruity and floral, kind of like lemon Nestea. The flavor is thick with piney, floral hops, and again lemon Nestea.

Lighter body perhaps but otherwise a dry hopped IPA. Golden amber. Light head. Nasal hop attack.

650ml brown bottle. Golden, light haze. White cap, soapy lace. Nose has spicey pine hops, deeper fruity notes, oranges. Taste has grains, caramel, pine hops, slight fruity notes. Pithy aggressive bitterness. Aftertaste is long with pith, resin, grapefruit and earthy hops. Medium body, well carbonated. Overall, quite a bold APA, pretty close to IPA, my kind of beer for sure.

Pretty much an IPA with a straight up near nasty bitterness that suits me just fine. Smells fresh unlike my shorts after a sweaty single track session. Oh my god do I HATE Glenn Healy. Shut the hell up. Thankfully I Pvr and I get to skip the other CBC idiot - PJ Stock. Ok, so like usual Iím obliterating another review beer so Iíll move on to the taste. Moderately fruity, light pine, bready, pineapple powder, tropical something hanging around, tasty but not adventurous. Very nice aroma, huge fluffy head on a gentle pour. Overpriced but at least it was good! Viva fishnet stockings.
