Growler Fill from The Filling Station. This beer reminds me a lot of a light version of their Imperial IPA. Itís definitely a pale ale but leans ever so closely to an IPA. Big piney tropical notes on the nose, very hoppy aroma for a pale. Taste follows... lots of papaya, tropical fruit, bananas, and a semi-sweet malt back. Absolutely awesome pale ale.

Honey gold with small foamy head. Aroma is floral and fruity. Taste- resinous hops, fruity and floral. Well balanced with crackery malt. I also seem to get some rye. Solid pale ale...hopped up enough to be considered an IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: light flowers, straw. Appearance: clear gold, small, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters intensify, getting dry in the finish, grass. Overall: OK APA, weak aroma. Pint at Green Flash Brewing Company, San Diego.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Thin, sticky, lasting, white head. Very fusty, minty, herbal, orange hop. Bit of banana sweet, which is fine by me. Taste is fusty bitter. Fairly dry. Full palate. A little greasy. Herb oiliness. Finishes light dry, and long, resinous, bitter. Very nice. Iíd put this at 8%, if I didnít know better. Big and tasty.

66 cl bottle @ home. Pours slightly cloudy golden amber with a white tan head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are citrus, pine, and caramel - with a bitter finish.

Draft at The Local Eatery & Water Hole, San Diego. Pours a golden Orange with a firm white head. Nose has nice balance of citrus, passionfruit and caramel malts. Taste is a super balanced pale - citrus and caramel malts balance it out. Nice bitterness. Sessionable pale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lagerboy (1255) - British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 7, 2014
Bomber. Mostly clear orange copper, firmer off-white lasting foam. Tropical fruity floral hop aroma. Quite floral, fruity hop forward taste, mild lightly sweet pale malts behind. Average carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. Grapefruity finish. Well crafted, but more of an IPA makes it: NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Bottle at brew night. Pours clear amber, thick white head. Caramel and citrus aromas, some cats piss and resin. Taste is bitter, caramel at the back. Full body, bitter finish. Good stuff.

Bottle from Vinspecialisten, Aalborg. Clear orange with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 290914

Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thick head. Floral and honey on the nose along with a lot of toast, dark toast and malt. Tasted malty, refreshing and lots of bitter hops, floral and citrus. A bit sweet. Not a revolution but a superb example of the style.

On the upper end of really really good, flavorful aromatic pale ales. This beer seemed super fresh and hoppy as all get out without being overly bitter and still low on the alcohol. Very well done."
