Pours golden with minimal head. Aroma a huge orange hit. Flavor follows with that single note somewhat balanced with hops/bitter. Finish mellow with lingering fruit. Overall i am not a fan of overly fruity brews so I’m off this one.

Bomber. Really tasty APA. Pours a clear amber with a sold white head and lots of life in the glass. Nice citrus and pine flavors. Well balanced with a touch of malt sweetness. Excellent pale ale.

Draught at Toronado, San Diego. Clear golden beer with a decent offwhite head. Hop aroma, grassy, floral, citrus, grapes, some pine apples. Hoppy grassy flavor, floral citrus, mango, some pine. Nice well hopped beer.

On tap at Dutch’s. Hazy orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Medium body. Good bigger piney hop in the aroma. Kind of grassy. Bready, kind of biscuity lightly toasty malt, some light caramel. Moderate to bigger bitter taste. Little sweet. Light spicy character to it. Solid, easy drinking, satisfyingly hoppy pale ale.

When I saw this on tap I thought I had found something special (on the tap list it called out as "Green Flash 30th anniversary ale) Unfortunately, my high expectations were met with a completely average, yet solid and drinkable beer. Problem is that I struggle to recall this decent yet all too forgettable beer. I guess it is my bad for thinking that Green Flash has been in biz for 30 years.

Golden color with a white head. Aroma contains some pine, orange, lemons, tangerines. Flavor is somewhat bitter but not too much. There is a good variety of citrus in there. Overall an excellent session ale.

Nice, easy drinking pale ale with more IBUs than to style, but not an IPA. Clean piney-slight grapefruit aroma, nice white head and good body for a lighter beer.

On tap at the brewery. Golden orange in color with an average off white head. Aroma is heavy in tropical fruits (pineapple, papaya and passion fruit) with floral and a light dankness. Taste is of pineapple, peach, caramel, light woody notes, and caramel.

A little mixed on this one--I thought it was interesting but not great; MB thought it was fabulous. Lots of woody notes to it. Very cloudy orange pour. Full-bodied.

Draft sample (notes). Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale malts, a splash of caramel, resiny, citrus rind and earthy hops with a nice malt/hops finish. Decent APA.
