Tap at Hamilton’s. Clear medium auburn with a small off - white head, down to a film within a few mins. Lots of fruity belgian yeast and banana in the nose, though not too sweet, just a little rye and toasted malt behind. Flavor is a little toastier, still plenty yeasty, clean ripe banana. Never sweet, dry finish, little rye. Bitterness at a 3. Soft light to moderate carbonation with a medium body. Quite tasty. Good job at a Belgian style.

Draft at GF 7th anny festival. Dark orange to amber hue with mostly dissipating head. Nose is complex; Belgian yeast and Candi with rye bread, caramel, and light fruits. Flavor is fruity syrup and Belgian yeast up front, transitions to rye bread and bitter grassy and citrus hop flavors, caramel malt backbone, finishes on the dry and bitter side. Medium body, high and biting carbonation, smooth texture. Complex, flavorful, and easy drinking Belgian hybrid, plenty of depth without being overwhelming, great anniversary ale!
