On tap at brewery. Pours a dark black with a small tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts, coco, chill pepper, some coffee, and some earthy herbal notes. Taste is spicy with a lot of earthy chili peppers, roasted malts, bakers coco, and some mild hop bitterness. Has a medium-full body with a pretty creamy mouthfeel and and a spicy lingering finish. Overall, a pretty tasty stout that makes good uses of Serrano Chili.

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014 - Session 2. Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige head. The nose holds dark chocolate, green pepper and coffee. Medium sweet flavour with present but not oppressive chili heat, sweet dark chocolate, moderate roasted malts. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Light chili heat on the finish, with rich chocolate, more roast, dark bread. Really good chili integration into this stout. Solid.

Pours deep opaque black with a small, creamy, beige film head. Aroma has lots of chili, coffee, dark chocolate, pepper. Medium carbonation, fine dry and very creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of chili, burning, turning the fatness down. Chocolate and coffee. Quite a bit of chili burn. Lovely chili beer

On tap at 33 West in Dover. Dark pour with one finger head. Cocoa and coffee jump to the nose. Thick and chewy, cocoa, roast, coffee. A beautiful blend of sweetness and roast. Some alcohol burn notable, but pleasing. The chilis shine through at the end giving this a mild burn that just makes this one interesting beer! I really liked it. Go get some.

Pours a finger and half of head on a black body. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee and chocolate, then just a hint of fresh Serrano in the background. The taste is milk and chocolate with enough pepper to spice it up a bit but not overwhelm it. The texture is thicker. Really enjoyable.

This looks nice. This beer is right on the edge of too much pepper. The bite is at the back end. Okay.

On tap @ the brewery in Miramar. Dark brown, tan head. Fresh green peppery aroma and character, very vegetal, but with only mild heat. Great compliment to the hearty base beer. Loved it.
