On tap at brewery. Pours a dark black with a small tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts, coco, chill pepper, some coffee, and some earthy herbal notes. Taste is spicy with a lot of earthy chili peppers, roasted malts, bakers coco, and some mild hop bitterness. Has a medium-full body with a pretty creamy mouthfeel and and a spicy lingering finish. Overall, a pretty tasty stout that makes good uses of Serrano Chili.

This poured a darker brown with a beige head. Aroma was roasted malt, light dark.chocolate and.some Chile. Flavor was mainly.stout forward, light booze, and.Chile heat but not much flavor.

Deep black color with a tan head. Green pepper-vegetable and black pepper aroma. Roasty flavor with a vegie-edge and slight pepper spice in the finish.

Tap at brewery. Pours deep, dark brown with tan head. Aroma is pepper spice, chocolate, coffee, and some faint booze. Flavor matches the nose with the chocolate and pepper flavors dominating along with some faint caramel and boozy sweetness, ultimately finishing out dry with a nice lingering spice note. Medium/full body and medium carbonation.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a black color with a large foamy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was hot peppers, a bit of roasty malts and ansie. The flavor was hot peppers, smoke, toasty malts and a hint of anise. Long toasty smoke and hot pepper finish. Medium body. Ok.

Draft at the brewery. Pours dark brown with a fizzy tan head. Tastes like vegetable, spicy pepper, light booze, dark coffee, dark chocolate, and dry roasted malt. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like chili pepper, dark coffee, vegetable, and dry roasted malt.

Pours a dark rich black pour with a nice Java head, at Brass Tap with Audrie in Coral Springs. Nose is spivey and peppery . Taste is delightfully peppery but not over the top, with a backbone of rich malt. Smooth and velvety, and very drinkable. Finish is peppery with a long bittersweet cocoa ending. Nice !

Sampler tap at Giant Eagle in Shadyside, Pittsburgh. Immediate burn that leaves room for the chocolate goodness later. This is a fantastic offering that I hope will stay around for a long time.

Draft at Tap 42. Dark brown pour with a light brown head. Huge chili aromas. All kinds of heat from the chilis with robust dark roasted malt notes. Tasty, but not overly complex. Good body and mouthfeel.

on tap poured into a tulip glass..jet black,fluffy tan head..aroma of coffee,pepper,spices..tastes like it smells with the chilies becoming more prevalent as it warms..interesting beer.
