Golden naked oats mashed with dark crystal and robust roasted malts create a luscious black brew with a satin smooth finish. Layering UK Target hops in the boil adds a pleasant, earthy complexity while higher fermentation temperatures enhance the overall flavor with fruity esters. An old-world style, done the Green Flash way. Big, bold, flavorful and complex – Double Stout.

Pours dark black with tan head. Aroma is coffee and dark roasty malts. Super smooth texture is the first thing I notice, kinda creamy. Coffee, Roast malts, piney hops, plum. Lively carbonation, medium body. Really good stuff. Need to re visit when I’m not incredibly stuffed up.

Bottle 50cl from Brewdog bar Edinburgh. A dark beer with good brown head. Nose is rich on dark chocolate notes with a sweet creamy background. Aroma is on the same tendance, a creamy dark chocolate body with rosted notes, medium sweet, ashes notes but very drinkable for this EBC level and alcohol level. Finish is on dark caramel and licorice with light red fruit notes. I like the creamy / smooth side.

Botella de 355ml. Vaso Tumbler. 355ml bottle. Tumbler glass. Enjoyed on apr´12. Pure black in color with a tan crown. Froth lasts while stays as a thin layer on top remaining ´til the end. Some collars & spots on sides. Aromas show roasted malts, yeast & subtle hoppiness, fruity touch & cocoa with dark fruit notes. Gentle toasted malts, low bitterness & black chocolate touch at first sip. Slightly puckering & spiced sensation in the middle. Full body, moderate carbonation. Dry roasted malt finish. Fruits & malts on the aftertaste with underliying hoppiness. Very pleasant & smooth drinkability. ABV is well hidden. Flavorful beer. Green Flash has never disappointed me!

Dark black with ruby lowlights and a quickly dissipating brown head and no lacing. Aroma of oatmeal, dark chocolate, dark fruits, mild coffee and a hint of smoke. Taste of oatmeal, alcohol, chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and black licorice. Body is semi-chalky with a semi-sour finish that has acidic and bitter chocolate notes.
