3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle shared at Klooster. Pours black, bubbly beige head with low retention. Aroma is mild coffee, chocolate and roast malts. Flavour has same aspects but with a caramel sweetness and some licorice. Nice easy drinking, not too extreme stout.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. A black beer with an average siozed, frothy. mostly diminishing tan head. The aroma is moderately malty and lightly hoppy, with notes of roasted grain, oat, milk chocolate, with minor notes of coffee, floral. dark fruits and alcohol. The flavour is heavily sweet, lightly sour, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety/creamy texture, soft/lively carbonation, very long finish, with heavy bitterness, moderately alcoholic. The aroma is the weakest department of this stuff, it doesnít have any off notes, but itís not so powerful. Heavily roasted malts, to the point of being charred/burnt in the mouth, but not annoying, at least for my liking. Strongly bitter in the aftertaste. Very nice mouthfeel/structure, perhaps excessive alcoholicity for not being the biggest impy around, but thatís another minor point, Really solid.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours oily and opaque with a medium to dark brown head. Head is high and whipped-cream like, and leaves lace. Nose is cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla -- really, really appetizing. More cocoa on the tongue -- it reminds me of a mildly alcoholic traditional cocoa, without the sugar. Rich, full, and pleasantly oily on the tongue. Wow.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black with a really thick and dark brown head. Aroma is of creamy chocolate - almost like chocolate milk. Taste is chocolate in the front with the feel of it being creamy. The finish is some bitter, burnt flavors that mix well with the chocolate flavors in the taste. Nice.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
0.65l bottle @ Baran, Bergen. Pours a pitch black body with a nice creamy caramel head leaving good lacing. Aroma is nice and roasty with some coffee, a sour oaky wood-note that I like, light vanilla, some salty peaty tar and a little burned toast. Full-bodied, has an oily to creamy texture and itís softly carbonated. Punch some good espresso coffee in the first sip along with a little ash, mild vanilla and some good roasted caramel. Itís also somehow slightly dry. Mild warming aftertaste and a nice roasted finish makes this a really good stout. Green flash really knows what they are doing.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Jet black with a tan head. Roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate and coffee. Bitterness on the palate is noticeable but still restrained a bit and has a nice smoothness. Good beer, have yet to try a Green Flash that I didnít like.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep and dark looking with a leathery vinegar and baking powder volcano head. Thick and chocolatey nose. Big but smooth, a hint of booziness but it is overcome by milky creaminess very quickly. Itís good, smooth and sweet.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark and brown/black in color with a somewhat foamy tan and brownish head. Roasty malt flavors are well balanced with some nuttiness, a bit of coffee and chocolate, as well as caramel and toffee in there as well. Strong, but not overly soÖ you will not recognize the alcohol content as you sip. A respectable stout, though not as strong as some imperial varieties.
