4.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized dark brown colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark black brown colored body and a very good lacing. The nice aroma was mild chocolate and dark malt. The mildly vinous semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a strong dark malt aftertaste. The nice flavor contained notes of roasted malt strong malt toasted malt mild hops chocolate brown malt and dark malt. A wonderful best in class brew.

Green Flash does it again. This has all the flavor and aroma you would expect from a stout. The malts are well balanced and the oats provide the perfect smoothness. Abv is undetectable. Wish this was a little roastier and alittle thicker. Awesome stout though.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle into tulip glass, opaque deep dark brown color with dark tan head. Aroma of heavy roasted malt, dark chocolate, ground coffee, molasses and a faint fruitiness. Taste adds notes of bakers chocolate, dark roast coffee, cream, vanilla, slight woodiness and earthy hop bitterness. Heavy body, low carbonation, rich, creamy with lingering coffee roast finish. Pretty darn good IS, rich and coffee heavy.

"perhaps carbonated a little too much and just a tad thin (by direct comparison to bigger impy’s only), but a very solid, exremely well balanced effort. You can tell there are more IBUs here, as the hops play a bigger role than many other Impy stouts, but nothing in here is overpowering. One of the most drinkable beers in it’s class. Still has chocolate and coffee notes and flavor, but those have equal playing time with the hops and roasted malt. Well done. Another very good beer from Green Flash. 7/11 - not as "thin" as before. quite rich actually...pushing a 9 in mf,
