Tap. Black pour with a medium dark head. Relatively mild flavor for a stout- some hop bitterness but no overpowering roasted malt flavors. Smooth and easy drinking. It hides its alcohol content well. Pretty good overall.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick black color with a very brief tan head that disappears rather quickly. Aroma is of roasted malt, vanilla, coffee, brandy, licorice and coffee...very interesting. Full bodied, all of the aromas appear in the taste. Sweet finish. Great beer!

This, this is a good beer. So far, it's my favorite from Green Flash. This is a big beer. About as dark as you can get. Very malty with a very thick head. The malts and oats balance well with each other and finishes strong on the back of the throat.

The aroma has earthly tones with roasted malts. The color is nearly pitch black with minimal lacing. The head is dark tan and itís quite lively. It has a coffee flavor with plenty of oaks and roasted malts.

355ml bottle. Black pour, creamy tan head. Smell is dark cocoa, earthy hops, roasted malt notes, slight caramel and sweetness. Flavor is sarp and roasty, coffee dominates, dark cocoa, slight fruitiness, pretty dry and bitter finish. Really nice.

Barwa: czarna , nieprzejrzysta. Piana brązowa, początkowo średnio potem drobno pęcherzykowa, niezbyt obfita i szybko opadająca.
Aromat: czekolada, kawa, ale mniej intensywny niż butelki, wyraźna růwnież paloność.
Smak: słodycz, potem cierpkie, palone słody, czekolada gorzka i kawa.

Dark black with coarse brown head, good so far. A lot of chocolate and black coffee up front with a heavy syrupy sweetness. A bit too bold for itís own good. Loses some of itís backbone due to the presence of alcohol and sweetness. Iíd prefer it slightly toned down.

Pours very thick with nice tan head. Aroma is hop forward with rich roasted finish. Mouthfeel and flavor are all a step up. Nothing to complain about here; far better than your average imperial stout.

This foreign stout has a lot of complex flavors going on that work really well together. I love this beer because it expresses the characteristics of imperial stouts, but at a more manageable drinking gravity. Poured into a tulip, think tan head brimming the top of the glass. Lots of roast, earthy hops, silky finish. Fantastic!
