4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
UPDATED: MAY 15, 2008 This is a wonderful beer that beautifully balances refreshing, crisp lightness and smoothness with great taste, body, and both malt and hop character. It is a golden amber with a good-sized, dense off-white head that lasts forever, only slowly shrinking, and leaving some good lacing. The aroma is light but extremely pleasant, honey, lightly toasted grain, pine and citrus. The taste from start through the long finish has wonderful sweet-bitter balance, elements of toffee, grain, honey, grapefruit and lemon. The palate is smooth but still lightly crisp at the end. In the end, this beer is outstanding for the balance it achieves between lightness, body, and flavour blending the lightness of a good, crisp pale lager with the flavour and body of a malty-hoppy ale.

Golden in color. Head was great for a filtered beer...nice white lace. Very nice aroma of hops but not too overpowering. As I drink this wonderful brew I loved the crisp balance between hops and malt...the malt is perfect for this pale. I couln’t say more about the palate other that the fact it is perfecto. One of the best pales I have ever had.

On tap and got a growler as well. Go with me on this, this si a great beer for BBQ, Swimming parties or any other slick summer activity. Very light but great flavors in malt and hops, very piney/citrus/bitter. This beer is very sofisticated despite its light characteristics. COULD DRINK ALL DAY!

pours with fine wite head and golden clear hue. This is a beautiful everyday drinker. I love pale ales and this is a standard of mine. Spicy malt gives way to a nice cascade hop bite. I highly recommend this for anyone who has not had it. Just grap a clean pint glass and enjoy

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had this beer on 10/21/2006. Aroma is a light fresh hop scent. Color is light bright gold with very good carbonation and a nice head. Taste is light, crisp and hoppy. Starting with a light body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish comes in with a bold hop flavor and bitterness with very light malt tones. In the end it is refreshing yet bitter.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer has quite an assortment of citrus aromas: pineapple, orange, and lemon peel, but mostly pineapple. It pours a hazy gold with an enormously thick creamy head. The bottle I opened had settled for a few days but foamed over profusely. It starts with orange peel then barley rich grains. It ends with a brief but noticeable tin flavor, which quickly gives way to fading hops.
