COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied Triple IPA, Green Bullet combines New Zealand grown Pacific Gem and Green Bullet hops. Significant pine and citrus hoppiness hit the palate at first sip, accentuated by tropical notes of mango and pineapple, ending with a moderately aggressive, bitter finish.

One of the best IPA s around. Pine, citrus, bitterness is very well balanced.

Competent and drinkable fresh DIPA. From Premier Gourmet. Boozy finish. Good aroma.

Tap at Republic at Seven Corners. Tulip glass. Nose overwhelmed by hops from the start. Orange with no hint of haze. Alcohol struts its stuff throughout the taste but doesnít necessarily take over. Hop is the star here and the hop crowd is definitely not disappointed. Finish is kind of sweet like a double IPA. Itís a tasty offering from a brewery I respect. Iíll ride the green bullet over the silver bullet anyday.

"Wow. Loved this one. Wasnít sure how much I would. I love their West Coast IPA...in fat, more so than Palate Wrecker or the Imperial IPA. This one, though, super fresh as it was, packed the right amount of hop-popping aroma and flavor with a big malty sweet backbone without interfering with the fact that itís an IPA. Barleywineish in body, though not too heavy. Pine and citrus on the nose and tongue followed up with a carmel malt and a blast of tropical fruit. Loved it...kept my nose in the bottle all night. One of the best IPA/IIPAs Iíve had this year."

Bottle. Big caramel nose and big hoppiness (pine/citrus mix). Orangeish/amber color. Caramel to start, then a big alc. hit, pine, grapefruit, resiny, and some tropical fruit. Medium-heavy body. Thick and packed with flavor. A bit hard to get through, but tasty anyway.

Gluey foam tops the super clean, sickly orange. Straight up dehydrated urine aroma, call it catty if needed but itís more urinal floor than Sauv Blanc. Canned pineapple and other old fruits, grain alcohol, and plastic phenols. More acceptable flavor. Heat stricken tropical fruits, and gluey generic gum syrup. Inoffensive really, but lacking in extreme tropical brightness or suffocatingly sticky resins. Fusel driven palate, sludgy and hot while also being mostly depthless. This is just an odd, sugar and alcohol driven mess.

This was poured into a snifter. The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light speckled lacing clinging here and there. The smell had a good amount of sweet citrus accompanied by sweet and bitter piney hops. Light earthy spice enters in as it warms. The taste was mainly sweet citrus with a nice allocation of bitter piney earthy spices. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body showing a sipper aspect about it because Iím noticing the alcohol a bit in this one. The carbonation was there and showed itís crisp - ness in a DIPA, hey now - honestly not bad, I like it. Overall, good DIPA or er...Triple IPA, whatever it is, Iíll take it again.

Bottle. Pour is a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a deep piney hop resin with a bit of sweet malt to back it up. Flavor is again a very nice chewy piney hop resin with a solid malt backbone. A little of that resin is left on the tongue as this goes down. Pretty solid DIPA. you could not taste the alcohol, but you sure could feel it. This was not the beer to have after a run. I should have pulled out a session IPA for that. This is a sipper.
