Good beer. Meets all the standard criteria of a good IPA. Complex, fruity, a bit herby; good.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy, copper-orange pour with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma is hoppy with grapefruit and light pine along with some pineapple and apricot. It has a full body with slick texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with some mild alcohol warmth.

12 ounce bottle pours a hazy light copper color. Nice piney citrus aroma. Moderate off-white head. A little too much residual sweetness for my liking. But at over 10% that's to be expected. Nice smooth bitterness with a bit of harsh aftertaste.

Bottle and tap. I wanted to love this beer and upon first quaff I kind of did but it all goes downhill for me after that first sniff. Like many big double ipa’s, this one turns into a sugary sweet bomb midway through. You do get lots of fresh hop notes and flavors but its all ruined by the incredibly sugary sweet finish. Just like the ET Molotov, I can’t get into this one at all, let alone, finish a 12 oz bottle.

Hoppy creamy pine aroma. Pale golden color with mid cream white head. Super hoppy but incredibly balanced and smooth finish. Awesome.

Bottle; clear glowing orange with alot of carbonation streams. Nice frothy head. ARoma of pine, citrus, grapefruit, and earth. Quite hoppy and aggressive; piney and citrusy; earthiness lingers. Touch of sweetness. Alcohol hidden fairly well. Hadn’t been feeling IPAs and such recently, but this was quite good.

On tap at Bangers and Lace. Pours clear golden with orange hues and a white head. Aromas of resiny hops, loads of pine, some citrus, and dose of sweet malt. Flavors piney resiny hops, some citrus, and a fairly large malt presence. Finishes bitter. Nothing special here.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Deep golden pour with a fast fading, thin white head. The aroma is pretty light - a bit of citrusy hoppiness and a bit of tropical fruit. Assertive bitterness wrapped in a malty sweet shell. The hops are fairly faded in this bottle (sadness) but there is a fairly bright piney character. The alcohol is pretty well hidden and they’ve done a nice job at keeping the malt sweetness down. Has a lingering herbal/grassy component. Damn - I wish I had a fresh bottle.
