3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a bottle. The best by date has gone by, so itís not that new. Unfortunately that has killed almost all the hops. It tasteís more like a fairly bitter barley wine than an triple IPA. I believe the score would be a lot higher if it would be fresh.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
650ml bottle at Hoppy pub Thessaloniki. Orange color with nice white head that lasts. Hoppy, citrusy aroma with pine. Hoppy bitter punch in the mouth at the beginning, then it becomes fruity sweet and it ends even more bitter with a bitterness that lasts.

2013-01-29. Big hoppy aroma, lightly leafy and mild citrus and tropical fruit notes, lightly alcoholic. 7+ Lightly hazy dark orange body with a modest off white head. 3+ Flavour is fairly bitter, with a good amount of hops, notes of resin and muted fruit. 7+ Medium bodied palate, lots of carbonation. 3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
To me it seemed harsher than other IPAs. It also didnít taste particularly as great as some others I have had. I think there are better IPAs for the money.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy orange body topped with a soft white head. Aroma is soft with grass and some resin and fruity hops. Taste includes complex hops featuring grass, grapefruit, lemon, and some floral elements overlaying some sweetness and an appropriate malt base. Some thickness and sweetness compliment the challenging hops. Aftertaste is well balanced with elements of the hops, malt and sweetness carrying through. Not as bitingly bitter as the double green flash, but a substantial beer, as one should expect at %10 alcohol. A nice challenging sipper.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Slightly hazy apricot color with a smallish white head. Light spruce and tea leaf up front in the aroma with some mild ripened fruit (dates and fig) at the tail end. Flavor starts out mildly sweet with quick hints of caramel candy and molasses before rapidly turning bitter as loads of pine, grapefruit and mild leathers erupt. Finish is slightly sticky and once again sweet with mild plums and alcohol atop the lingering yet fading hops. Overall, its shocking lack in aromatic pungency puts a damper on an otherwise solid hop-centric ale.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Small bottle (shared by suurjuust, thanks!). Pours hazy golden, the head disappears quickly. Aroma is hoppy pine, citrus, honey, somewhat floral. Taste: pine, some malt, grapefruit. Itís oily but also surprisingly watery. Finish is long pine bitter, but not very intense. It also has noticeable, but not unpleasant alcohol burn. Overall: really nice DIPA. The ABV is hidden very well; it would be very easy to get really drunk without noticing.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Somewhat hazy orange, medium white head, filmy retention. Nose is very resiny and hoppy, piney, malts in the background. Flavour is biscuity malt, grapefruit, oranges, pine, more resin, some sweetness. Bitter dry resiny finish. Medium body, watery to oily texture, medium carbonation. Very hoppy, but balances out pretty nicely. Hides the ABV very well.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Best by May 5, 2014 stamped on the bottle.
Nice golden pour of beer, 2 finger head of foam(served nearish room temp) lots of lacing.
Aromas of a really pungent hop character with mild malt smell in the background. Big grapefruit, hints of tropical fruit.
Very bitter flavours up front. Pine is there, mild malt sweet tones show up but donít really balance things out...as expected from a brew calling itself a triple IPA.
The bitter wears on me about half way through the bottle but thereís no doubt that Iíll finish the bottle and the other 3 from the 4 pack.
A very slick mouthfeel. Okayish drinkability. Not my cup of tea, so to speak.
