COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied Triple IPA, Green Bullet combines New Zealand grown Pacific Gem and Green Bullet hops. Significant pine and citrus hoppiness hit the palate at first sip, accentuated by tropical notes of mango and pineapple, ending with a moderately aggressive, bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a small foamy head that fades quickly but leaves decent lacing. Aromas are peaches, tropical fruit, grapefruit, oranges, pine, and wet grass. Taste is slightly sweet with a strong bitter punch. Very nice hop complexity but thereís a flavor here that I donít like. Iím pretty sure itís the Nelson Sauvin hop that I never seem to enjoy. Taste has lots of peaches, flowers, pine, citrus and tropical fruit. Very dry finish. Nice oily mouthfeel. This is certainly a well made beer but that Nelson Sauvin hop throws it off a bit for me.

12oz bottle thank d-man dmac! Pours a clear copper color with a thin foamy off white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, and pine. Taste is slightly boozy, with notes of dank citrus hops, pineapple, and sticky resinous pine.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 1/10/2014. Pours moderately cloudy orange amber color with a 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of huge mango, passion fruit, pineapple, tangerine, peach, lemon zest, orange rind, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity of tropical/citrus hop notes with a fair amount of malt balance; and great strength. Taste of mango, peach, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange rind, floral, pine, light caramel, and floral earthiness. Good amount of earthy floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of mango, peach, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange rind, floral, pine, light caramel, and floral earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity of citrus/tropical hop flavors with a fair amount of malt balance; and no cloying bitterness present after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a lightly slick, crisp, and very sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a small warming present after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent DIPA! All around great complexity of citrus/tropical hop flavors with a fair amount of malt balance; and quite smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan. Thin, frothy white head. Mellow, somewhat muted aroma...mild citrus. Not quite as exotic as some of the recent Australian and New Zealand hop beers, but still a pretty solid offering. Clean, easy going toasty golden malt backbone somehow...steady, bitter grapefruit and citrus rind hop tones. Bitter finish. Surprisingly drinkable, a really pleasant IIPA. No off tones, well executed, solid stuff.

Pours a golden orange with a thin head. Aroma is fairly muted w citrus up front and a hop back note. Taste is pretty unique. Perhaps itís the New Zealand hops. Fairly refreshing for the ABV. Lots of hops but not overbearing on the palate. Perhaps a little more citrus could be had.

Bottle. Clear copper with a light beige head. Intense, spicy hop aroma. A bit of tropical fruit but mostly strong hops and boozy.

On tap at winking lizard Coventry . Golden clear with head and lace. Aroma of pine resin and my daughterís mac n cheese. Mild pineapple apricot fruit with resiny rindy pine and grapefruit bitter finish with a hint of sweetness. Lovely creamy soft mouthfeel. Excellent.

651 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, white head, with some lacing, over a hazy, light amber (SRM 10) body.....nose is light caramel/toffee from the malts, heavy pine, resin, citrus peel from the hops, with hints of mango, peach......taste is hints of toffee/caramel, with light dried fruits from the malts, heavy pine, resin, hints of tropical fruits (mango, pineapple) dominant lingering bitter finish.....mouth feel on the heavy of medium, sticky, alcohol warmth present, carbonation low, lightly acidic. This is a very heavily hopped beer (both hops used have very high alpha acid content), with the result that the malt backbone is over whelmed. The hops used have interesting aromas and flavors but are just too dominant. This could be improved by upping the malt bill perhaps through Pils and crystal/caramel. BJCP 8/3/13/4/6
