4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. EB 03.12.14.
Condensed spider web of billowy off-white head. Light copper, orange hue.
Dank, fresh, wet hops, whole leaf, not typical dry hop sludge in hoppy GF beers. Pine, morning dew, pungently green/grassy, stinky green MJ nugs.
Most pine hop flavor/aroma I’ve encountered. Malt body is thick but gracefully slides down in a deceivingly creamy manner letting the hops shine. Reminiscent of a BP Old Hollowing Bastard but truly resembles an IPA and not Barley Wine. Hardly any alcohol warmth, no burn even at room temperature. Impressed.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 ounce from The Beer Trappe. Big clear amber pour. Mango. Tropical fruit. Big bitterness. Some of the green onion these triples project.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
S: Much more floral that I would expect, with some pine bittering hops, mango, and some peach. Alcohol and some grains also come through. P: A very clear copper, you can clearly see through this beer and it carries a very thin white head. T: Soapy pine and a hint of mango, some swee caramel and sweet candy come rushing through, clashing with the hops. M: Light with soft carbonation. O: Easy to drink but seems to carry a few barelywine flavors. Best not having to cold as I thought that was when the alcohol was most noticable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours deep but transparent copper with a big, lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and piney and resinous hops plus a good amount of pale and caramel malts. Flavor the same with a nice hoppiness. Smooth texture. A pretty good beer, but sometimes I just wonder why people make triple IPAs.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a medium golden color with a big frothy three fingers of foam. The nose is a bit strange boozy grass, floral notes, mango and a little something strange... I guess I said boozy grass. The palate is much more tropical fruit heavy with big mango, pineapple notes that are round and juicy then get a little sticky and then the flavors seems to evaporate with a boozy heat. Intriguing beer thats good cold and gets a little strange as it warms. Nice beer worth trying... different.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This was a very unique triple IPA. I loved the mango and pineapple flavors. I caught some strong musty funk aromas that I enjoyed. The finish was definitely pleasing with a mild burn and an enjoyable resin aftertaste.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle to tulip. Pours cloudy orange with a medium white head. Nose is resin, hops; flavor is resin, citrus and malt with a big, bitter hoppy finish. I was hoping this would be more like Alpine Expo; it’s not, but it’s still very drinkable.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is of earthy hops, pine, grapefruit and a nice blend of mango and pineapple notes. Taste is sweet initially but is quickly overtaken by a nice bitterness that also manages to not overpower the rest of the beer; surprisingly smooth taste. Medium body, lively carbonation, and creamy on the palate. Overall a very enjoyable brew.
