4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 13, 2013 Tap at Faucets. Looks like I had a lot of DIPAs this night. Consequently the rating standard is dropping fast. Amber coloured, small off white head. Aroma is citrus hoppy, tangerine. Taste is nice, orange, malty. Pretty good. Seems that I didn’t notice the 10.1% which I guess means it should get a extra few points, but probably was a bad choice looking back. Will definitely look to try it again. Rerate: had a bottle at Bamboo. Very different! Amber coloured, small off-white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy, bit leafy, boozy, lots of hops.
Taste is very interesting. Liquorice, caramel, lightly minty. Crazy stuff! Very full bodied, and of course lots of bitterness. Surprisingly easy drinking.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: SEP 5, 2013 Pours a copper orange with a small off white head. Aroma is of a lot of pine, citrus, and sweet malts. Taste is more robust and is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits and sweet caramel malts. Has a medium full body with a creamy mouthfeel and a moderately bitter, semi dry finish. overall, a pretty nice DIPA that hides its 10.1 abv very well.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fresh light body with tight carbonation. Light golden color with great lace. The aroma is a heady mix of herbal, woody, cat-y, and cheese rind hops. Flavor adds fresh grain and is in good balance. Beautiful beer.

Very mild aroma. Clean taste. Citrus. Grapefruit. Not too bitter at ten percent. Never been a fan of green flash but I really liked this beer.

3.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very bitter, not much complexity on nose. Some strange skunky notes lingering on the palate. Not bad, but not great either

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Just like West Coas IPA. Excessively bitter and clean but without anything all that great in the way of aroma or flavor hops.
