Pours a dark gold color, pine and citrus on the nose, hops explode in your mouth right away and finish with fruity notes

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at Freshcraft in Denver, CO. Dark orange pour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, and wet grass. Taste is a bitter assault of piney and citrusy hops with very little in the way of any balance from the malt. An awesome DIPA!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Burnt orange pour with white head. Nose is deep with meaty pineapple and mango with catty pine and sweet caramel malt. Some booziness. Flavor is is more of the tropical fruit and pineapple with a bit more of the pine than in the aroma. Fruity and semi-sweet. Decent booze presence. Thick, sticky palate with residual fruity pine.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Churchkey. Poured a very nice looking amber/orange color with a nice white head. Aroma was resin, pine, onions. Flavor was bitter notes of hops, citrus. lots of pine resins, and a bunch of onion notes on this one. Boozy. I was perfectly fine with the 4 ounces I got of this one. I thought I’d really like this one, especially after previous Green Flash successes.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Freshcraft. Pours a hazy orange appearance with a cream colored head. Tropical fruity, mango, pineapple, a bit dank aroma. Juicy grapefruity, pineapple, orange, herbal hoppy, a bit thick pale malty flavor. Pretty tasty.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle from Downer Wine and Spirits. Pours a clear amber color with a white head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, pine, a little mango. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is mostly bitter, a little sweet, pine, citrus, orange, pineapple, just a touch of bready sweetness, with a light bitter finish. An ok DIPA, but the bitterness is a little harsh.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Best by 3/10/14. Pours out a nice orangey pale color. Smells quite fruity, slightly tropical, with some grapefruit and pine. Not smacking me in the face with floral hops but they are there when taking a whiff. Tastes more tropical, pine and grapefruit with a slight sweetness from the ABV. Also some intense scorching bitterness on the back of the tongue creeping in the aftertaste. Palate is rich and full. Overall a delicious beer that only slightly disappoints in the aroma category and lack of the tropical hops one expects but still delicious.

Too boozy and abrasive for me, piney and resin flavors, with more alcohol , not all that great
