3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to snifter. Looks solid; a completely transparent burnt orange with foamy head somewhere between off-white and light beige. Smells solid; not Triple IPA hoppy though. Somewhat reserved citrus hops and sweet pale malt. Tastes like it smells with a good mouthfeel. Good, not great.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle to snifter. Big, hoppy nose. Dark copper pour with a small amount of off-white head. Nice bitter taste dominated again by hops and some mild citrus. Strong finish with some stickiness. Pricey four-pack, but well worth it. Another winner from Green Flash.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Dark orange color. Big grapefruit citrus aroma and a touch of pine. Palate wrecking sticky resin flavors. Some sweetness and toffee and caramel working throughout. Very aggressive west coast style beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: OCT 22, 2013 12oz bottle. Amber in color with a foamy off white head and lace. Aroma is lots of pine resin, alcohol, tropical fruit, citrus and caramel. Flavor is lots of sweet malt, bitter hops and alcohol with some fruity yeast esters. Medium body with a sticky, resiny mouth feel. Pretty intense beer, so much hop, alcohol and sweetness, would be hard to drink much of this one.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear golden color with a white head. The aroma is floral with some rose and lemongrass, pine and tropical fruit. The flavor has more rose and lavender with minor citrus notes and intense pine bitterness in the finish. Honey like on the palate, but not too thick or sweet. Really nice and pretty unique.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber bottle bought at Champanes in Warren,
this beer had a orange pour with dark orange hues, and had a little haze and particles from loose sediment in the bottle, there was a foamy, two to three finger faint off-white head that receded to a thick cover and sticky ring that clung to the sides of the glass, it left nice spots and small sheets of bubbles on the sides of the glass, I found no sediment layer in the bottle but there was some haze/particles in the glass when poured,
this ale had aromas of resin and citrus hops, orange, lemon, guava and green (under ripe) fruit, toasted malt, there was a little malt sweetness,
it had flavors of hops that were resin, citrus and had a touch of pine, there was lemon grapefruit, guava and some orange fruit with toasted malt and a little bread with very little sweetness, the finish had citrus and bitter hops with a little malt trailing, the hop bitterness lingered on the mouth for a bit,
the mouth feel was light to medium with some creamy feel on the tongue, it had soft to average carbonation, this beer felt light on the palate for a 10.1% drink,
the hops were out front in this drink, the malt took a back seat, if you like citrus and bitter hops, you will like this IPA2.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Clear golden pour, very little carbonation and an aroma fruity and mildly syrupy alcoholic hops. Flavor is pleasantly malty & mild pineapple, and slightly boozy hops. Not a bad beer, but not worth $13-14/4-pack.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is an orangish copper with an off white head. Nose is awesome with tropical fruits like mango and pineapple with slight pine and flower. Big hop flavor as one would imagine with more bitterness than the nose lets on. There is a good amount of resinous flavor in this. The malt backbone is present and necessary to fend off full blown palate destruction. Mouthfeel is medium/full with a slightly viscous feel. Overall it's a pretty good iiipa. Not sure if I've had this hop variety before but it's nice.
