A full-bodied Triple IPA, Green Bullet combines New Zealand grown Pacific Gem and Green Bullet hops. Significant pine and citrus hoppiness hit the palate at first sip, accentuated by tropical notes of mango and pineapple, ending with a moderately aggressive, bitter finish.

Growler. Whoa! Light amber ale. Fukn’ reeks of schticky hops. Nose is extract herbal, heavy; borderline medicinal. Burning, bubbly, coating tongue of pine, citrus, haze, and cleaning products. Malts balanced well. Still Huge. Bitter + Alcoholic

Tap. Pours clear gold/copper with average, fizzy white head; good retention and lacing. Aroma is citrus and floral hops, oranges, cookie and bread malts, and light lemon. Flavor is fresh hops forward (medium bitterness) with good supporting sweet malts and citrus fruit esters; crisp, hoppy finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

Tap at the brewery. Rating #14. Heavy duty stuff, lots of citrus (grapefruit) and big time bitterness. Brutal, but in a good way. (2586)

Strong Ale 2012. Orange pour with a white head. Really nice grapefruit, pine, and pineapple aroma. Some floral notes, a bit of bread sweetness, caramel, and tangerine. Really nice hop character to the flavor. Tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, and pine. A moderate bitterness to balance out the sweetness of the caramel and bread.

Completely unbalanced, hoppy beer. It was awesome. Oh, sure, there was a bit of caramel malty flavors, but lots of grapefruit and pine. Nice heavy, viscous palate. On tap, Suttree’s Tavern

On cask at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange-amber color with thin to no head. Aroma was a huge amount of grapefruit, melon, and sweet candy citrus. Flavors were similarly juicy, with lots of melon, grapefruit, and bitter citrus. Definitely a good amour of bitterness, but somewhat softer and gentler than others of this style, which I appreciated. Full bodied mouthfeel, but little to no carbonation due to it being from a cask. Definitely excited to try this one again!
