A full-bodied Triple IPA, Green Bullet combines New Zealand grown Pacific Gem and Green Bullet hops. Significant pine and citrus hoppiness hit the palate at first sip, accentuated by tropical notes of mango and pineapple, ending with a moderately aggressive, bitter finish.

Poured from 22 oz. bottle. Hazy, amber-gold with a 3-finger buff-yellow head and very good lacing. Intense aroma with, grapefruit, pine, tropical fruit, grass and caramel. Taste of floral hops, grapefruit, pine/spruce, grass, orange, tropical fruit and caramel. Medium/full body and medium/high carbonization. A robust IPA with a blend of several hoppy characteristics and enough malt to provide decent balance. Very tasty and certainly interesting. I would place it among, but not necessarily above most other high-end DIPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Advertised on the bottle as a Triple IPA but does not have the hop-hit of most DIPAs. Still tasty stuff, masks its extreme ABV percentage well and has a pleasing aftertaste to boot. In this instance a bottled bomber lives up to the bomber moniker. One in the glass and another in the fridge will keep one warm on a rainy winter desert night.

Bottle, thanks Peter. Aroma: caramel, floral, tropical fruits, grapefruit, a touch of chocolate. App: clear copper with white head not lasting. Taste and palate: medium body, high carbonation, medium sweetness and long lasting medium dry finish. Overall: aroma is medium but palate is just wow...really wasn’t expecting that great finish. Definitely a great surprise.

Pours unassuming amber with off white head. Fruity hoppy aroma. Flavors are really satisfying, with lots of citrus and fruity notes from the hops and a nice, big, sweet malty backbone to balance out the hops. Really enjoyable.

12 oz bottle. Aroma: malty and boozy, with hints of hay and caramel. Taste/Palate: thick and sweet; finishes with a long bitterness. It doesn’t get much better than this. Hark! Disgraced, naked angels sing the bittersweet lamentations of mortals. Does anyone ever read this shit?

Pours a yellow/orange color with a pine and citrus aroma. Taste is of grapefruit and malt mixed. A very easy drinking beer especialy for such high alcohol content. The alcohol content is well hidden amongst the citrus fruit flavors. The lack of bitterness was surprising for an Imperial Double.

Draft poured into glass. Great hoppy aroma (obviously). Pours an orange gold with a nice foamy white head that dissipates at a steady rate. Very hop foward with grassy pine and a slight citrus with a very bitter finish.

Green Flash makes some of the best IPAs out there and this is no exception. Very bitter with tons of spruce, some resin, and mixed tropical citrus. Bready malt backbone. Complex and underrated.

A 10.1% Triple IPA mail order from Antenna America (thanks Brian!). Served in a snifter it pours a remarkably clear and vibrant copper hue with minimal off-white foam. The nose is big earthy pine dankness with some fruity overtones. Medium bodied with a slickness to the mouthfeel which clashes slightly with the abrasive palate cleansing carbonation. The taste is nice and clean - tons of hops that give you a wide range of flavors tropical fruits, piney, bitter, dank, citrus and then a decent malty caramel sweetness from the malts. I was pleasantly surprised by this one, I was expecting something like an American Barleywine but I can truly say this really does feel like a Triple IPA. Nice.
