COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied Triple IPA, Green Bullet combines New Zealand grown Pacific Gem and Green Bullet hops. Significant pine and citrus hoppiness hit the palate at first sip, accentuated by tropical notes of mango and pineapple, ending with a moderately aggressive, bitter finish.

Draught @ Brouwerís Cafť:   Big piney and resiny nose, slight cat urine too.   Bright amber in color, thin foamy white head, light lacing, lighter carbonation.   Strong pithy bitterness up front, very light tropical fruit, thankfully no cat urine.   Hard to believe this is 10.1% as it hides it very well.   This is a bit hopsided as it dominates over the malts.   Not overbalanced at all, but its a hop head beer for sure.   Very bright.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Great beer, a hop bruiser, but holds the alcohol in very well.   A hopheads dream beer I must say!   Clean, long bitter finish.

"Wow. Loved this one. Wasnít sure how much I would. I love their West Coast IPA...in fat, more so than Palate Wrecker or the Imperial IPA. This one, though, super fresh as it was, packed the right amount of hop-popping aroma and flavor with a big malty sweet backbone without interfering with the fact that itís an IPA. Barleywineish in body, though not too heavy. Pine and citrus on the nose and tongue followed up with a carmel malt and a blast of tropical fruit. Loved it...kept my nose in the bottle all night. One of the best IPA/IIPAs Iíve had this year."

35,5 cl bottle @ Viisi Penniš, BBE 01.04.2014
Aroma is heavy with pineapples, caramel and woody notes. Flavour is sweet and somewhat woody with lots of hops, pineapples, gluey notes and a feeling of alcohol in the background. Finishes with herbal tones and more alcohol. Just too boozy.

Draft at Hopgeist 2014. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted bready malts, earthy, herbal hops, some dank character, moderate bitterness. Good beer, donít know why I hadnít rated this though.

Draft pour. Clear amber color with ivory head. Big pine, floral, fruity hop aromas. Smooth medium body. Nice pine, floral hoppy flavors with a big pale malt base to smooth things out---tasty.

Bottle to snifter. Looks solid; a completely transparent burnt orange with foamy head somewhere between off-white and light beige. Smells solid; not Triple IPA hoppy though. Somewhat reserved citrus hops and sweet pale malt. Tastes like it smells with a good mouthfeel. Good, not great.

Bottle. Pours as youíd expect, warmly orange, well topped with whipped foam. The aroma hints at sweet and orange, and indeed those are the predominate characteristics in the drink ... mandarin, orange rind ... bit of an acidic sting ... little bit of a wild bite. But overall, exceptionally easy to drink for a 10% beer, to say the least. More sweet than bitter. Good stuff. (#5305, 10/31/2013)
