A full-bodied Triple IPA, Green Bullet combines New Zealand grown Pacific Gem and Green Bullet hops. Significant pine and citrus hoppiness hit the palate at first sip, accentuated by tropical notes of mango and pineapple, ending with a moderately aggressive, bitter finish.

Bottle to snifter. Looks solid; a completely transparent burnt orange with foamy head somewhere between off-white and light beige. Smells solid; not Triple IPA hoppy though. Somewhat reserved citrus hops and sweet pale malt. Tastes like it smells with a good mouthfeel. Good, not great.

Bottle. Nice amber orange colored brew with a thin off white head. This has a sweet cake like nose with notes of light perfume. Bits of peaches are in place. Flavors of walnuts and bread crust are present with each drink. This is a little bit piney on the back end. Not much in the way of citrus. The mouthfeel is surprisingly soft.

Completely unbalanced, hoppy beer. It was awesome. Oh, sure, there was a bit of caramel malty flavors, but lots of grapefruit and pine. Nice heavy, viscous palate. On tap, Suttree’s Tavern

Just like West Coas IPA. Excessively bitter and clean but without anything all that great in the way of aroma or flavor hops.

Bottle. Pours a mostly clear dark gold to light copper body with a small fizzy beige head. The nose is piney and citrusy with a light hint of garlic over a caramel and toasty malt base. The flavor is pretty aggressively bitter with lots of grapefruit pithiness, a little less harsh than I was expecting. There’s a bit of tropical fruitiness in here, but not nearly what I was hoping for based on the description. I keep coming back to the garlic flavor though, and it’s too distracting for me. Medium bodied with a fairly sturdy malt backbone and some sticky resiny hops. Good beer, but not something that I’d seek out again.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark orange-amber color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was strong pine and resin with a tangy undertone. The flavor was bitter with a strong alcohol presence and fairly strong though rough pine, resin, black pepper, hot pepper, catbox, cardboard, yeast and a sour almost toffee undertone. Very long harsh and bitter finish of alcohol, pine, resin and pepper. Thick and full bodied. Ok.

12 ounce bottle from wchesser. This beer is clear golden and some slowly rising bubbles are visible. I get vegetable in the aroma but notice no others have. Pale malts, too. Well, I taste them, too. That fades. Resinous pine enters and has is significant. Sweetness is big and almost sugary. At the finish some cinnamon is tasted.

Amber/orange pour with an off white head. Tropical fruits, sweet sticky malts, florals, and light resin. Chewy palate, big grapefruit hops, followed by caramel and a light alcohol finish.
