Brewer’s Haven in Boise has 12ozers and 22’s... Glad I only got a small bottle. Great looking brew... 2 finger off white head atop a clear dark golden liquid... nice lacing and retention.
Nose is all onion/garlic hoppiness... thick and a bit offputting IMO.
Flavor mirrors the aroma with a thick bitterness that lasts and lasts.
Body is expected thicker side of medium but plenty of small bubble carbonation abounds too.
Okay, but just not my cup of beer... I just don’t appreciate the onion/garlic hoppiness nor the burps that continue for 30 minutes after the bottle is gone.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft... Pours clear and amber with a large, frothy, white head. Good retention. The nose is crazy-spicy. Too spicy and nearly medicinal. The aroma also features light rations of American biscuits, crackers and overall graininess. Ultra full-bodied and velvety with stinging carbonation. The flavor is harshly bitter and tongue-numbing. The malt bill presents light notes of caramel and English biscuits. Wow - a bit excessive. Not flawed, but not my thing at all.

Very nice beer. Pushing heavier on the barley wine side rather than the hoppy IPA.

Near clear orange pour. Aroma is floral hops. Taste is floral, sweet and bitter finish. Blah blah blah, I hate the character count requirement.

Pours a deep dark orangish amber color. Aromas of big hop action, sweet malts, and more hops. Flavor has some bready maltsy tastes with nice grapefruit and floral hop taste.

Pours copper with a big foamy head. A really strong malty aroma. A huge malty kick in the teeth! Amazing.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Pours a clear orange hue, very bright with a medium white head. A big sweet fruity resin nose. The aroma is just like a triple IPA. The flavor is more sugary tropical resin, mango, oranges, lemon zest. There is some bitterness, but mostly rich tropical sweetness. Quite good. The alcohol is well hidden in some ways despite being a really big beer with a lot of warmth (to style I’d add).

Bottle. Golden orange color. Aroma of peach, pine, caramel and mango. Fruity taste of mango, tropical fruit, caramel, mild pine and some pineapple. Very nice.
