Bottle. Pour a light, clear copper color with a decent laced head. Tropical aroma. Kind of citrusy. Not much hops. Strong, grassy hops taste. Slight bitter finish. The Double IPA is better in my opinion.

On tap at Hackney’s Printers’ Row. Clear amber with thin white head. Aroma is pure candy - great! Taste is booze, resin, tropical and citrus fruits, with a bitter and boozy finish. Big thick body. Loved it.

Pours a nice honey colored body with a white head. Has a very floral aroma with hints of citrus and pine. The taste is a little light from what I was expecting but still full in flavor. Leaves a clean taste at the end.

bottle. High octane for sure. Enjoyed this imperial - nothing sensational (Hopslam for example) but nice.

From a bottle. Nice and sharp with a good sweetness in there too. There’s something strange going on though.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft pours murky orange with white head that dissipates. Hop aroma over light carbonation. Not particularly complex hop flavors and a bit boozy.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Stoked to see a triple IPA from the Flash. Clear dark gold, lacy head, your standard IPA appearance. Aroma is grapefruit, rum cake, wet grass, and pine needles. Flavor is an aggressive slap of hop resin, orange concentrate and crystal malt. It transitions into cloyingly sweet malt base and a warming high alcohol finish. Really needs more work to round out the finish. I found this at my local gas station/craft brew shop for like $3.50. Damn worth the price, but I was hoping for more balance!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear orange rust colour. Strong mango, pineapple, fruitty aroma with some burning alcohol. Malt body is syrupy sweet, alcohol pretty present, but a nice very bitter, but nicely masked beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Really good beer, and my first TIPA. Has more earthy notes to go along with the typical West Coast IPA flavors. Hides the alcohol pretty well and it's definitely unique.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle (Best before 3/14) - Lightly hazy deep golden amber with a filmy off white head. Nose is oniony and fruity, with pine and sweet bready malt. Definitely some rubbing alcohol too. So that’s off-putting. Taste is a bit metallic, with more oniony hops, some boozy fruitiness, and a sharp piney finish. More alcohol sharpness on the finish--the 10.1% is not well hidden. Leaves a sticky, resiny feel in the mouth. Thick and slick, with medium carbonation. Man...I just have not been impressed with the Green Flash I’ve had so far.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Twisted Jimmy’s. Terrific hop aroma, funky, grassy and herbal. Mild sweet notes. Heady and wonderful nose. Golden amber clear with thin white head. Medium-full body with medium-high carbonation. Mellow malt character, sweet but not cloying. Big hop flavor and huge bitterness throughout. Bitter after.
