A full-bodied Triple IPA, Green Bullet combines New Zealand grown Pacific Gem and Green Bullet hops. Significant pine and citrus hoppiness hit the palate at first sip, accentuated by tropical notes of mango and pineapple, ending with a moderately aggressive, bitter finish.

The beer had a clear body, golden amber color, and a one finger thick head. The carbonation looked gentle, and was comprised of some very fine bubbles. The smell of the beer was quite a bit milder than what I expected a Triple IPA to be. I could detect grapefruit and hay, and some pine. The taste was much hoppier than the smell, with a grapefruit laden, tongue tingling, hop bitterness. The alcohol was very well hidden, and the beer felt nowhere near 10% ABV. The body was medium dense, but much lighter than a typical beer of this strength, and the finish was herbal and long. This was a great find for a hophead like me.

355 ml bottle. Hazy golden. Bold sweet resiny aroma with lots of pine and caramel. Onions. Sharp petrol flavours at first. Then lots of hop bitterness. Fantastic aroma and very flavourful. Full bodied with quite a bit of sweetness, but there enough hops to balance. Long lingering bitterness in the finish.

Orange cloudy body, white full head that stays on the glass. Aroma of hops, some caramel and alcohol, grass, pine, flowers in the end. The taste is similar to the aroma with a little more alcohol. Not "triple" strong. Medium hop oil aftertaste with a little caramel.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2014 An excellent double IPA that showcases well what antipodean hops can bring to the table. A little too strong to enjoy in the quantities one would like though.

Shared a 33cl bottle. Pours a cloudy orangish golden colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is grassy, pine, citrus, hops and bread. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is more bitter than sweet with some bitter aftertaste. Overall, a more than one dimension beer that at first it seems that have some strange notes in the aroma, but not noticeable in the taste. Very balanced taste. Very good!
