4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
The beer had a clear body, golden amber color, and a one finger thick head. The carbonation looked gentle, and was comprised of some very fine bubbles. The smell of the beer was quite a bit milder than what I expected a Triple IPA to be. I could detect grapefruit and hay, and some pine. The taste was much hoppier than the smell, with a grapefruit laden, tongue tingling, hop bitterness. The alcohol was very well hidden, and the beer felt nowhere near 10% ABV. The body was medium dense, but much lighter than a typical beer of this strength, and the finish was herbal and long. This was a great find for a hophead like me.

3.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours cloudy golden brown - almost the color of honey. Head is soft beige and mildy soapy with wet lacing. Aroma is very rich: pine, resin, cream, citrus and a touch of vanilla. Taste is less sweet and surprisingly so. Very heavy on the booze and strong and bitter pine hops. Grapefruit citrus, but again, heavier on the bitter; some candy sweetness does linger on the backend. Slick mouthfeel and low carbonation. This is a strong beer, but I've enjoyed other DIPAs more. Nonetheless, Green Flash is an all-star brewery.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. I really wanted to like this more than I did. Pours light orange with a decent head. Big tropical fruit aroma. Really aggressively sweet fruit but just so astringent in its bitterness that it fights with the tropical sweetness. Interesting but not all that drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle.
Pours copper with a fluffy cream-colored head. The nose is dank, lots of pineapple juice. Flavor is dominated by pine needles, lots of bitter oils overwhelm the tropical aromatics, oniony, coming around with a bitter peppery second wind late in the flavor profile. Full, thick mouthfeel, really hot. Warmth coming through strong in the throat long after the sip. Five sips of this one would be enough for me tonight; itís not drainpour bad by any stretch and yet Iím not particularly interested in drinking it. I guess Iím just not into massively bitter piney IIPAs these days. Wouldnít have bought this one if I wasnít still sort of sentimental about Green Flash.
I wish I could travel back in time. Iíd give a glass of this to my college self and watch that lager-drinking mofo cough and spit. It would have blown my mind.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Sproutís: Poured a golden honey liquid that had slow rising carbonation bubbles while a thin layer of dense foam head rested on top. Aroma is musky with a heavy dosage of green hops that give off scents of spices and herbs. The beer is intensely bitter upon my first few sips but I adapted quickly to the extreme flavors of hops I donít believe I have tasted before but none the less are doing their job. The hops come across as spicy as if it has cumin or pepper along with green herbs such as mint or thyme. This is thinking outside the box but it also comes across as shocking which is what every single brewery is trying to accomplish in these times. This is should have been palate wreckers older bro because this might rearrange my taste buds to now recognize Aussie and NZís strains of hops.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Smells of oregano, pineapple, hawaiian pizza, the garden on a warm spring day, and starburst. Full of body and lively character with a perfect finish thatís not too sweet and ends with a touch of alcohol. For sure every drinkable but not sure why itís called a triple cause it drinks like a double. None the less freaking delicious!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a nice honey colored body with a white head. Has a very floral aroma with hints of citrus and pine. The taste is a little light from what I was expecting but still full in flavor. Leaves a clean taste at the end.

bottle. High octane for sure. Enjoyed this imperial - nothing sensational (Hopslam for example) but nice.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft pours murky orange with white head that dissipates. Hop aroma over light carbonation. Not particularly complex hop flavors and a bit boozy.
