3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 iowaherkeye (2636) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - NOV 7, 2012Tap at Hamilton’s. Clear yellow amber with a creamy small off-white head, lasting. Huge tangerine and candy orange slices in the flavor, some lilac notes coming up more in the finish, which was dry with bitterness at 7. I also get a tinge of anise. Weird. Aroma follows suit once it finally warmed. Light body with light to mod carbonation. Good. Interesting.

10oz pour at Tylers Apex. Good aroma, sweet. Citrusy. Orange, lemon, pineapple. Just a tad hazed brownish orange. Little to no head or lace. Bittersweet flavor. Medium body, creamy oily mouthfeel, Bittersweet finish. Tasty. Aroma best part. Has a tad dulling finish.

Beer 27 Asheville trip, on tap at Thirsty Monk. A really rare one from Green Flash, nice find. Light orange appearance, faintly hazy. Aroma and flavor were lightly citric hop. Bordering on an APA as opposed to an IPA. Has the typical West Coast bias away from malt backbone. Not bad though.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 hayduke (2933) - Eureka, California, USA - JAN 25, 2013
This was on draft at Green Flash night at THE LOCAL BEER BAR in Eureka, CA., Came clear orange in the glass with a white head. The nose is mostly tangerine and other tropical fruits and some citrus. Medium body and exceptionally smooth in the mouth. The favor is really rich and well defined with a whole lot of tangerine, grapefruit, orange, pine, and apricots. Finish is long, dry and bitter. A really great West Coast IPA.
4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 crossovert (4565) - Wisconsin, USA - JAN 2, 2013
Huge aroma on this one. Fresh hop pellets, citrus, pine, dank. Flavor is huge melon on the first sip and mellows into a tropical/citrus/melon bomb. Bitterness is low but it creeps up as it warms. Nice light color and appearance. Great beer.

Cloudy copper, with a nice sized white head. Smells like grapefruit and a little bit grainy. Flavor is a nice mix earthy (but not too earthy) malts and citrusy hops. Really tasty...
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 nearbeer (3048) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 4, 2012
Pint on tap. Light haze on the burnt orange body with a lasting disc of cream above. Nose is the standard citrus, caramel and resin. Taste is the same with a bit of a wooden and cardboard finish. Light-medium body has medium carbonation, and finishes way to the bitter-dry side.
