Mar 29, 2009 12 oz bottle from John’s - Has quite a nice aroma, but the taste is a bit disappointing. It’s kind of like the first time you try vanilla extract. It smells way better than it tastes.

Mar 29, 2009 ~Pours a murky brownish red color with big lasting fluffy off white head.
~Good floral hop scent with lots of sweet maltiness. Smells like an IPA.
~Bitter hop taste, spicy floral hops. Mellow malts in the taste. I like, seems to be an IPA to me.
~Medium feel, dusty, dry hop finish.
~ A delicious treat. Pretty IPAish to me. Interesting brew.

Mar 27, 2009 Dark cloudy red/amber color. Nice tan head. Hoppy aroma balanced with roasted malt. Taste is smooth and hoppy as well, with a creamy texture. Didn’t impress me at first, but grew on me throughout the pour.

Mar 24, 2009 The pour reveals a clear amber color with a medium tan head. Very good aroma of piney, citrusy and resinous hops. Solid flavor of piney, citrusy and resinous hops with some malt and a bitter finish. The body is light with a creamy texture and soft to medium carbonation. Very nice, one of the best amber ales I’ve had so far.
