Commercial Description:
Resinous hop character and bitterness balance the rich caramel malt base. We took it a step further and Amarillo dry hopped the brew to 45 IBUs, creating refreshing and savory hop flavors and aromas. Is it Red IPA? That’s your call.

Hop Head is a hoppy and sweet tasting beer with a nice look. It has a beautiful and sweet smell and taste.

Bottle from VinensVerden, Odense. Pours lovely hazy orange with a red hew and a small creamy white head. Nose is inviting. It has lots of hops. Pine, grapefruit, orange. Very fresh & crisp. Fine palate. Bitter lasting hoppy end. Very well made & enjoyable hoppy brew from Green Flash!

Sampled on 12/11/08. This amber/red ale pours a dark red color form a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel malt and big piney and citrusy hops. A medium bodied red ale. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are piney and citrusy. The hops dominate in this beer. Good carbonation. Big hoppy amber. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is hoppy and bitter.

Botella. 100th rating of Dec. 08. Nice hazy orange colour, big good lasting white head. Fresh very hoppy fruity pine aroma. Lovely hoppy fruity pine and grape fruit flavour. Dry hoppy pine long lasting finish. Tasty brew indeed.

Reviewed 11/30/2008 (Tap @ Flying Saucer, Houston, TX): Pours a red, dark red brown color body, and a huge foamy cream-colored head, good lacing, and lasting. Has a hoppy aroma, grapefruity. Dusty nose. Strawberry fruit taste, some malts. Has a bitter aftertaste. A fizzy palate. Very harsh grapefruity taste and aftertaste. A little smoother as it warms. A very good heavily hopped ale.

aroma spicy hops, flavor is very hoppy, but nicely balanced, piny notes, faint sawdust. nice tasting beer.

Bottle at Ølbaren, Hazy orange coloured with a small white head. Fruity aroma of hops, peaches and pine needles. Fruity flavour of hops, peaches and pine needles with notes of grape fruits. Dry hoppy finish.

Bottle at ØLbaren. Cloudy mahogany-red/brown - offwhite head. High hoppy, resin, bitterness, chocolate, high malty, cactus, lime, citrus. Very nice.
