Pours a hazy brown ruby with a foamy off-white head that was long lasting. Nose is of citrus hops and caramel, some malt sweetness with a candy fragrance in the background. Taste starts with a nice hop bitterness with a taste of toasted malt and dark bread, faint malt sweetness and caramel flavors. Finishes with a medium dryness and fine carbonation and not to much either. I really enjoyed this one, another fine North County brew!
