stchloe (473), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 27, 2008 OBF ’08 I truly heart Green Flash Brewing, always great. It is very nice red with a great hop profile. BuckyBazoo (23), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Jul 27, 2008 Deep red in color with a creme color mid-size head. Piney aroma is stiff in the nose. Initial taste is very enjoyable with a creamy flavor of hops and carmelized sugar. Slow hop filled finish texasbartender (160), Sugarland, Texas, USA Jul 27, 2008 The red beer pours the rich caramel color of a nice port with a creamy off white head. The nose is a mix of light alcohol and hops. The taste is hops, burnt sugar and malts. The finish is nice and somewhat drawn out. mar (1740), Rowlett, Texas, USA Jul 26, 2008 deep ruby pour with a thin cream colored head. very nice hop notes along with brown sugar? very easy on the palate with a nice creamy flavor of malts that finishes with a slight hop bite. GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 26, 2008 Bottle via trade with blankboy - thanks, Paul! Rating #2300. Dark amber-brown with a medium off-white head. Fantastic hop-forward aroma - lots of citrus and spruce - with nutty and mildly roasty malt in behind. Flavour follows closely on the aroma - very well-hopped, but balanced as well. Full bodied. A really enjoyable beer, and a nice choice for a minor milestone. jmikolich (405), Athens, Ohio, USA Jul 26, 2008 12oz bottle, pours a reddish brown, smells like an IPA, tastes like an IPA, but supremely balanced, only problem with this one, and its minor is the mouthfeel, quite thick and syrupy i felt.. but this is a pretty tasty treat. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA Jul 26, 2008 Bottle. Ruby amber beer with a ncie tan head. Nice grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit/pine flavor with a caramel/nutty backing. Medium bodied. Lingering grapefruit/pine with some tropical notes and sweet malt. KingpinIPA (842), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 26, 2008 Copper color. Smell of hops, malt, flowers, rye, caramel and pine. Tastes just like Founders Red Rye. Taste of hops, malt, flowers, rye, caramel and pine. Love the bitterness.
