COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Resinous hop characteristics emerge from an enormous hopping with Columbus, Nugget and Amarillo overtaking the rich caramel malt base. To add luscious
hop flavors and enticingly floral hop aromas, we dry-hop the brew with bucket loads of Amarillo hops. Welcome to the world of Red IPA.

Yum. My favorite (but expensive) red ale. I love the carmel, the bitterness of the hops, the carmel and toasted nutty flavor. Yum.

Lovely red ale, awesome hop body that’s really well balanced with malt sweetness. Aroma is a bit lacking, especially compared to dry-hopped IPA’s, but the taste and mouthfeel more than make up for this. Awesome red IPA

Pours a ruby amber with a large long lasting tan head with very good lacing and head retention through out to the end. Aroma of floral piney hops, some grapefruit and citrus notes with some caramel malt and yeast. Taste is floral piney hops, citrus and grapefruit notes with some caramel malt and yeast. A medium to full body with very good lively carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Finish is caramel malt, yeast, citrus notes followed by a good amount of floral piney hops on the end for balance. This brew is dominated by floral piney hops but balance well by the caramel malt and yeast to make it a pleasant drink. Overall a very good full flavored and nicely balanced brew.

On draft at the Foundry in KC. Poured clear reddish amber, minimal tan ring. Nose is pine, caramel malts, wood, toffee, molasses, herbal notes. More of the same on a chewy palate. The toffee sweetness is followed up by resinous hop bitterness on the finish. Pleasant hop head red. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours reddish brown, almost rust colored with a white head. Aroma is caramel, pine and wood. Taste is sweet bitters. Medium mouth feel with sticky finish. Light carbonation lends to a smooth texture. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours an ruby amber with decent cream colour head. Falls away slowly. Flavours are initiallydominated by floral hop aromas before the rich sweet caramel comes on in support. Really nice. Flavours are quite sweet before a decent resiny hop finish. Medium mouthfeel. Really good beer.

From a 355ml bottle on 18/5/2012. Pours a cloudy red amber with some yeasty chunks and biggish head. Has lots of caramel and toffee on the nose, along with some floral and fruity hops. The aroma translates across to the flavour, with a big caramel and toffee malt base, stone fruit (particularly apricots), and oodles of hoppy goodness, as well as some nutty notes. A beautifully balanced and impressive brew.
