hopscotch (4379), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jun 16, 2008 Bottle... Thinkin’ ‘Bout Thirteen Hours O’ Drinkin’ (tew man wrecking crew)... Mostly clear copper ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, khaki head. Excellent retention. Peppery aroma with notes of black tea and lemon. Full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Medium caramel sweetness obliterated by heavy-assed, balls-out bitterness. Wow... those hops really pack a punch! Lengthy, tongue-numbing, heavily bitter finish. hopdog (4371), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA May 22, 2008 On tap. POured a deeper amber/orange color and a smaller sized off whte head. Lightly hazy. Aromas of floral green hops, citrus, and a little ’soapy’. Tastes of floral hops, citrus, and toasted caramel. Nice bitter to sweet balance in the tastes. Lacing left on the glass. JorisPPattyn (4246), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 21, 2008 Draught Hazy amber beer with mossy shine under a small yellow ring. C-hops, rainwater nose; bit of a dark candi sugar aroma? Bitter with a chocolate impression, greenery, dark leaves. A bit light in MF, slightly slick. Good, but discreet red ale.
