3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the Porter Beer Bar in Atlanta. Pint glass. Pours a deep orange-amber with a pillow head. Good lacing. Strong aroma of cedar, citrus, pine and biscuit. The taste was not quite as strong cedar as the aroma. Pine and citrus hops came through. Nice spicy and floral finish. Slightly bitter. Good, but not as good as Humidor from Cigar City.

Draft: The thing to talk about with this beer is it’s delicious aroma. The cedar lends a nice spicy aroma and flavor that really sticks with you through the finish. Very nice, and I’d love to try this again! Awesome stuff.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cedar adds an interesting aroma and flavor. Kind of like my childhood cedar chest...the most aromatic furniture in our home! Outstanding IPA!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Another really solid, delicious beer from Green Flash. The beer pours a bright but cloudy amber color with a ton of foamy, creamy head. The aroma is citrus and pine hops, a little bit of vanilla malt in the background. Big, spicy burn on the front of the tongue, and a warm, rich malt hits mid-sip. Then the character of the wood and some punch from the alcohol close it out. Green Flash does hop forward beers as well as anyone.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very nice APA with a distinct aroma. I wouldn’t say that the cedar was super apparent, but it added an understated newness to the quality of the aroma. It terms of the taste, a pretty standard west coast pale with a bitter spicy finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Appearance: this beer pours with a large beige head that settles into a nice density, the beer is pretty clear, slightly darker golden color with hues of amber
Aroma: grass, citrus, dank, perhaps some peppercorn, smells good
Taste: moderate bitterness, strong caramel malt in the middle, has a hint of peppercorn spice throughout the whole sip, bitter finish
Palate: average carbonation, medium mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste
Overall: this is a good bold pale ale, I would have guessed the abv would have been higher than 6%, try this if you're into imperial ipa's but want a lower abv

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
New copper penny pour with a hint of tangelo and a solid ivory crown that leaves a ring or two of lacing. Bright citrus, spice, and loads of raw wood. Solid amount of flavor, particularly for a brew at 6%. Yum.
