2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized soapy off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was bitter, floral and perfumey hops with a bit of citric acid. The flavor was thin, bitter and watery with sharp floral, citric and perfumey hops. Medium length bitter floral and perfumey hop finish. Medium body. Meh.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught. Hazy-orange gold, thin head. Citrusy hops abound, but not a bad thing in late summer. Some nice flavours of fruit, hops, and just a touch of wet cardboard. Nice.

9/20/2013: Green Flash Citra Session IPA... This beer is exactly everything I hate - Citra hops! This beer has a soft toffee malt base and does what it should which is showcase the hops. However, I just donít like Citra hops AT ALL. I love hops with pine and resin characteristics and those with citrus and tropical fruit flavors, but I just donít care for those flavors together along with a distinct MELON flavor as well. Everything together comes across as muddled to me and on top of that, Citra hops just seem to impart a soft and fuzzy kind of bitterness. Itís hard to explain. I know that Iím probably the only one who doesnít like Citra hops, but thatís okay. Although this is a well-made, well-balalnced IPA, I just canít get my tastebuds to accept this particular hop. I was hoping that a beer from Green Flash could do it, but instead this one just confirmed my dislike. Draught sample(s) at Party Town in Florence, KY. Rating #118 for this beer.

At World Craft Tasting 2013, Osaka. 4.5% a fairly clear gold with a nice citrusy aroma. The taste is pine & citrus with a touch of dank. Decent stuff.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Had on draft a few weeks ago. I could drink this all night. At only 4.3 ABV, this is what session beer is suppose to be like . The hops and Carmel really stick out on this brew.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear bright gold with a creamy medium white head...good lacing. Aroma has light hoppy spice and grass...a faint metallic note. Flavor follows suit...very green tasting and spicy with grassy bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and silky with a dry, grassy/spicy and fairly bitter finish. Very nice session beer!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had on tap in a pint glass.
Poured a slightly hazy medium gold with a half finger white head.
A very citrusy aroma with a little bit of breadiness from the malt. The hop aroma is really nice but it is great that there is that malt in there to balance it out.
More tropical fruit in the flavor and it is the predominate characteristic. There is a nice earthy, dank quality in there too just to make things interesting. A touch of bready malt but hops really rule. Bitterness is on the moderate side and a light mouthfeel but not too watery which is surprising given the low abv.
Overall, one of the better "session" IPAís I have had. Manages to have the flavor and body of a stronger beer. Very nice.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Capones. Pours a fairly clean pale gold with thin white head and sea foam lace. Nose of tropical fruit, grapefruit, apricot, bread. Solid hop taste, light to medium body and assertive bitterness. Good session

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at State Line. Pours a slightly cloudy yellowish orange with a one finger white head that retains nicely. Strong aroma of grapefruit and orange with a boatload of searing hops. Plenty of bitter hops right up front with citrus tones and nearly acidic rind qualities. Grapefruit and pine combine throughout with a doughy backbone that is slightly present with a hint of sweetness. Finishes bitter and dry with lingering flavor. Lighter medium body, higher carbonation, definitely dry on the tongue.
