Location: Draft at Ginger Man (NYC), 8/15/13

Aroma: The nose is resin/pine and citrus hops, lemon zest, grapefruit, etc.
Appearance: Pours a clear orange color with a frothy, lasting off-white head and some sticky lace
Flavor: The taste is hoppy and clean, mild sweetness, and a medium-plus bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it is has a clean feel, with average carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: This one is tasty stuff and very sessionable. I liked it quite a bit. The did a nice job here, I look forward to trying others in this series.

On tap at mccloskeys in Ardmore. Very fine white head and little lacing. Nice juicy aroma. Mouthfeel is light but right on for an APA. Little too much carbonation which could have been the bar's fault. Taste was very citrusy. Kind of abrasive and pithy. Ok pretty decent. I'd drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Slightly hazy, golden pour with a slick of white foam. Light grapefruit, pine, and restrained bitterness in the aroma. Taste is medium bitterness, pine, some grapefruit notes, and a lightly sweet, bready malt backbone. Clean mouthfeel. Balanced and tasty - good beer!

Aroma is unabashed citrus and distinct spruce. A nice marriage of aroma. Dark straw color that is translucent. Spotty lacing. Thin white head of a half finger retains. Beautiful. Taste is citrus spruce with back end bitter. Light body, thirst quenching. Great pale!

So I am about #100 fpr tjhis beer. Yes it is fairly mild, but the server said this was listed as an IPA right on the keg. Pale yellow. Really nice lacing, really nice. Creamy head. taste is certainly not as offensive as a typical IPA. Fairly easy going. Hints of rubber in there. Bitter finish, almost atringent but not quite.
