Our Citra Session™ IPA is brewed with high-quality Marris Otter and Vienna malt but the flavor is dominated by the Citra hops introduced throughout the boil and again in the dry hop for maximum aroma intensity. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit make this hop-laden brew a perfectly potable summer session IPA.

Outstanding SIPA. Pours clear golden with white ringed head. Excellent clarity. Notes of grapefruit, tangerine and a little pine on the nose. Malt surfaces in the veil of earthy, spicy notes - marris otter. Zesty citrus, a little yeast, florals on the palate. Malt is a little repressed but lifts the body to medium territory. Growing pithy medium-bitterness. Feels bigger than it is, but stops short of being heavy.

Bottle Mogwai Bar&Mat. Aroma has citrus and very fresh citra hops. Pours golden with a small white head. Taste is too bland, but holds some hops. Palate is stray and grassy, yet drinkable. Overall a nice beer but lacks a certain punch.

Bottle. Pours clear gold, white head. Some retention/little lace. Aroma of cheesy, citrus hop, light caramel. Taste is lightly bitter, cheesy, citrus, lemon, caramel, cracker. Palate is slick, lightly bitter finish. Must be an old bottle.

Tap @ Camel. Hazy yellow with thin head. Nice boxwood/cat pissy angel, but not too over whelming. Nice dry bitterness, a touch of peach. Hangs on the edge of rubbery. Not too heavy, nice dry finish.

Clear golden color with average head. Aroma and taste were citra hops. Impressive for 4.5% ABV. Should be year around!

This has some initial hops up front and is certainly lighter than standard IPA but it’s just not as good as it would be if it were just a standard pale, like pretty much every session IPA.

Solid enough hoppy beer. Session IPA by body but not by flavor. Very hoppy with significant finishing bitterness. Kind of a funky aroma and flavor but enjoyable enough.

Tap at 1702 in Tucson, AZ Pours pale orange with a small soapy white head around the rim of the glass. Nose is huge woody leaffy hops lite aspirin floral leaffy notes. Flavors are all hops like drinking hop juice. Huge leaffy floral grapefruit notes with a ton of aspirin like bitterness but in a good way. Long floral and grapefruit rind finish. Another fantastic session ipa!

Bottle from Tipples with Best By date 01/24/15, poured 11/8/14. Pours hazy yellow with a one finger white bubbly head. Big Citra aroma of lemon rinds, pine comes, sweet honey citrus, a little soapy. Flavor is extremely raw vegetal hop flavors, low bitterness, barely any malt backbone but a lightly sweet honey lemon flavor. Super light body, some funky off flavors. This is a bit of a miss for me from the guys that usually do good stuff with hops. Meh.
