COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Citra Session™ IPA is brewed with high-quality Marris Otter and Vienna malt but the flavor is dominated by the Citra hops introduced throughout the boil and again in the dry hop for maximum aroma intensity. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit make this hop-laden brew a perfectly potable summer session IPA.

Pours a very pretty and clean straw blonde with a subtle gold hue. Two fingers of white head that fades quickly. The aroma is nice enough. Shows some light oniony notes, green citrus rind, and a dank grassy character. Flavor is fine. Body, palate, mouthfeel make it difficult to get much of a flavor as this beer is mostly feel. Very light bodied and dry with a puckering bitterness. Almost sharply bitter and astringent. Lack of body and mouthfeel plus the amount of bitterness makes this one a touch unpleasant.

Draft at Moriartys. Clear medium-amber pour with a frothy off-white head that mostly disappeared. Earthy citra notes. More woody than expected. Some dark citrus pith but well battled with a medium-malted toffee backbone. Sugarcane. Burnt tangerine peels. Oak planks. Wildflower honey. Drying tannins. Body feels a bit watery. Have had purer Citra hop brews (read Spice if Life) but this one brings a better balance that makes it more drinkable but less interesting.

Pours clear light golden color with white head. Citrus aroma with some onions and pine. Light malt start with citrus followed with some grassy and light onion flavors and finishing with pine bitterness. The flavor is a little light but still tasty.

On tap at the Daily Growler, UA. Gold pour with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops, pine. Tastes are malty, citrus, mango, grapefruit - lots of sweet citrus. Thin and slight metallic. Dry, floral. Surprised this is rated so high. Typically like GF, but not this one. - 5.8

A delicious session IPA. Aroma was dank hops and not much else. Pour was a nice light gold with a thin white film for a head. Taste was delicious. Love this style. Bitter hops with a very soapy taste and not much else. Grass and grapefruity. Nice carbonation. Great session beer

22oz bomber from Xroads. Poured a great looking clear deep gold body with an average sized fluffy bright white head. Aroma is really nice and dank, apricots, juicy ruby red grapefruit, orange pulp, tangerine, and lime. Body is medium with slightly stronger carbonation and a dry finish. Flavor of earthy citrus rind, lemon, apricot skins and some yellow grapefruit. Very nice for the low ABV.

650ml bottle. 4.5% version. Pour clear light gold. Soapy/sudsy bright white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is orange nougat. Flavor is light. some bread flavor, smooth melon, very nondescript, light to medium bitterness. Definitely sluggable and refreshing, come of as a bit seltzery htough.

Prufrockstar (965) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 10, 2014
Draft at bottleworks. Pours crystal clear medium amber. Aroma brings citrus and pine - a classic IPA nose, really. Taste brings some biscuit and bread to serve as a base for the hop bomb payload. Dry throughout, big bitter finish. Citrus burps. Light body, lively carbonation, goes down easy. Overall: great session ipa.
