Our Citra Session™ IPA is brewed with high-quality Marris Otter and Vienna malt but the flavor is dominated by the Citra hops introduced throughout the boil and again in the dry hop for maximum aroma intensity. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit make this hop-laden brew a perfectly potable summer session IPA.

Bottle, best before February 2016, drunk 9/6/15.
Large white head is frothy and diminishes steadily to cover, topping a clear golden body with plentiful carbonation.
Citra in the nose shows the usual citrus melange with a bit of floral notes, some perfume and light grassiness. Malts are well-attenuated adding honey and light vanilla. The vienna malt dosent really come through, perhaps adding just a hint of caramel. No alcohol and clean, with no stale hop issues.
Quite hoppy in the flavor but as with the top notch session IPAs, the bitterness is held mostly in check. Some acidity does build up (a touch of pine and strong grapefruit) on the end. Malts are sparse, dry but not overly grainy or overattenuated. Plentiful carbonation is a bit aggressive/peppery but the flavors are on point, leaving orange blossom honey, lemon zest and light pine on the finish, lingering.

Bottle. Hazy recollection of this. Bond sesh/sex night. Standard stuff. Cool smell, wheat hop, Citra all the way, floral brought on strong by the citrus. Getting a lot of weed too. It tastes watered down, more metallic, not as complex. Malty hop overtone.

Strong aroma is quite hoppy and evergreen. It pours clear golden with a fine-bubbled pale buff head. Flavor is hoppy and then some, evergreen and a little bitter, with citrus underpinnings and a malty hint. Mouthfeel features OK body but plenty of fizz. Hop to it!

Bottle share at GBBF, thanks to Paul I believe. Yellow, still, decent foamy white head. Aroma is grassy, flowers and leaves, passionfruit. Body is medium, soft carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is floral, pine, salty, resinous. Quite nice.

Best by 01/13/16. Sounds pretty fresh for me for a session IPA starting with an ABV of 4.5. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking hazy to semi-transparent transparent golden color with a slim finger’s worth of white foaminess that quickly dissipated barely leaving any lacing. The smell started off with a sharp citrus somewhat bitter with an underlying sweet to bitter pine to blend. The taste was moderately bitter with an underscore of bitter piney-ness. There’s a lingering bitter piney aftertaste leading into a slight dry sweet citrus finish. Different, but nice. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light allowing a nice harsh bitterness to pound my tongue. Overall, I say this was a pretty good session IPA that I would have again.

Pours clear yellowish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of juicy fruits, zesty citrus, pine and resin. Taste is grainy malty, hoppy and resinous with some grass and citrus. Finish is smooth, grainy and worty with some hoppiness. Okay, feels a bit raw though.
