COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Citra Sessionô IPA is brewed with high-quality Marris Otter and Vienna malt but the flavor is dominated by the Citra hops introduced throughout the boil and again in the dry hop for maximum aroma intensity. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit make this hop-laden brew a perfectly potable summer session IPA.

Bottle. Aroma is decent. Perfume pine, citrus and tropical fruit. Tastes pretty bitter and dank. Citrus and pine mostly. Not very smooth. Rough finish. Meh.

Buck eighty-five for a bottle at Wine Warehouse. Deep golden with a small white head. Smells of hops. Taste is watery hops, followed by a burnt nutty malt. Um. Not really a fan, but I wou;wouldnít say itís bad.

Bottle from GBBF 2015. It pours clear gold with a decent white head. The nose is fresh, bright grapefruit, clean lemon, bergamot and toasty grain. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, straw, grapefruit, lemony sherbet, toasty grain, light bread and some minerals with a refreshingly dry finish. Light - medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Decent session gear.

22oz bomber. Good citrus and pine aroma. Taste is unbalanced, but I canít put my finger on it. Iím glad I drank it but I wouldnít want a steady diet of it.

Mostly clear light copper pour with a half inch of white head. Juicy floral hop aroma, oranges and lemons, tropical punch, pineapple, lavender/honey, pollen. Average carbonation and sticky mouthfeel, with an assertive crisp finish. Good flavor in this one - juicy citrus and florals met with sharp pine bite, and nutty malt. This is a winning session IPA.

12oz bottle. Clear golden Amber with a white head. Hops and citrus aroma. Light carbonated body. Sharp grassy flavor with a bitter finish. Flavor is too flat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden, clear. Bit of white foam. Aroma is grassy, bit of lemon, recognisably Citra. Taste is light, Citra comes out nicely, leaves lingering bitter dry sensation. Bit low on the body for me but as a starting beer for the night could be nice.

Bottle from gbbf 2015 and drunk at home. Pours with almost a complete lack of carbonation. But then brightens in the mouth. Good sharp citrus flavour. Lemon grapefruit. Dry light bitterness on the finish. Very fruity. Good but that flat opening was a disappointment.

Bottle purchased from GBBF 2015 - fuzzy golden coloured pour with white head. Citrus fruity hoppy and malty aroma and taste, juicy satsuma and lemon, citrus rind, pine, some caramel , hoppy bitter finish. Nice!

Big juicy citrus, fruity nose with just a hint of grassy malt peaking through. Mildly cloudy deep yellow/light gold color with thin head, no lacing. Flavors matching aroma with deep bitterness, out of balance. The beer is very crisp and quite dry. There is some silkiness to the mouthfeel, no astringency, but overall it would improve with less carbonation/reduced carb bite. Overall glad I had it, would try it again, but itís out of balance and doesnít drink as well as it should. Guess Iím trying to say the individual parts exceed the sum, never a good thing. I love hops so I love the nose and flavors but the beer just doesnít drink well which is the entire point of a ísessioní brew, itís got to be more than low abv, itís got to be repeatable and I canít imagine finishing 3 or 4 of these off in succession.
