Our Citra Session™ IPA is brewed with high-quality Marris Otter and Vienna malt but the flavor is dominated by the Citra hops introduced throughout the boil and again in the dry hop for maximum aroma intensity. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit make this hop-laden brew a perfectly potable summer session IPA.

On draft at the Brass Tap, poured a golden color with aromas of Citra, grapefruit, and light pineapple. Flavors are the same, not as intense as the aroma, but a solid pale ale.

On tap at Waddell’s Golden with a sheet of whites. Smells like Citra hops: grapefruit, onion, musk, body odor and some fruits; a touch of grain and biscuit in the back. Flavor is nice and balanced with bitterness and slight sweetness from the malts. The hops are fruity with a bit of B.O. Light bodied with moderately hi carb and a a semi dry finish. Decent beer.

Pours gold with a soapy white head. Nose is classic Citra bliss. Nose isn’t as intense as some of the bigger beers but great. Flavor is CITRA. and just enough neutral malt to keep from muddling the hops. Dry and light bitter finish. Great.

Draft at Craft. Pours dark straw with off-white head. Nose was hopcitrus, pronounced pineapple and grapefruit. Tasted crisp, fresh, with that citra tropical fruit flavor and a juicy finish.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2013 A little too hop forward for my taste (and I am a confirmed Citraholic). Otherwise a flavourful and surprisingly low alcohol brew - just what the doctor ordered!

On tap In a pint glass. Pours golden with an off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and fruity hops, some pale malts with light caramel, a little spice, and some dough. Flavor the same with a lot of hops. Average texture. A pretty good pale ale.

Draft at craft ale house. Pours lightly hazy yellowish orange with a medium sized white head. The aroma has a big floral essence, some grapefruit and lemon, really solid for a session brew. The taste has a solid medium duration bitterness with a light grapefruit balance. A really great session ipa. I’d put it right there with all day. I need a side by side.

On tap at Untapped Dallas. Orange with a white head. The aroma and flavor are very nice. I get some nice hop notes - mainly grapefruit and pine - as well as a decent amount of biscuit malt. The bitterness level is low but the hop flavor really shines. Very easy to drink. Definitely a nice beer for the hot summer months.

Draught > Flying Saucer. Crisp and dry and fruity and bitter. Great sessionable beer. Similar flavor and aroma to Founders All Day but better. This has more body; not as thin and metallic tasting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, fruity hops, light bready malt, grapefruit. Flavor of piney hops, garlicky hops, grassy hops, tropical fruits, crackery malt. Aroma gives the impression of a lightly hopped beer but the flavor is actually quite hoppy/powerful. Impressive palate for such a low abv. Tasty! 7/4/8/4/15 (3.8/5)
