COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Citra Session™ IPA is brewed with high-quality Marris Otter and Vienna malt but the flavor is dominated by the Citra hops introduced throughout the boil and again in the dry hop for maximum aroma intensity. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit make this hop-laden brew a perfectly potable summer session IPA.

So I am about #100 fpr tjhis beer. Yes it is fairly mild, but the server said this was listed as an IPA right on the keg. Pale yellow. Really nice lacing, really nice. Creamy head. taste is certainly not as offensive as a typical IPA. Fairly easy going. Hints of rubber in there. Bitter finish, almost atringent but not quite.

On tap at TAPS in Petaluma. Aroma is toasted apples and peaches, lactose, mild caramel. Round and fruity with a honeyed malt flavor. Pretty nice.

Pint on tap at The Davis Graduate. The aroma has a ton of citra hops present. Mango hints and some metallic character are also present. Nicely aromatic. Transparent yellow body with a medium, potent white head. Starts with significant hop flavor. Almost an onion-like taste. Becomes citrussy with lots of grapefruit hop bitterness. Dry and refreshing.

With a light sweet aroma and a golden color, this is one drinkable IPA. Piney hops give it a bitter start and a long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Lightly hazed effervescent gold with a fine white head. More like Simcoe than most Citra beers I’ve had, in the nose especially: garlic, cheese, pet urine, pineapple BO, that whole thing. Medium body with grating hop bitterness and somewhat rough malt; altogether it’s very bracing and highly acidic and not my cup of tea at all. Green onions and musty cheese rind and resin. Oh my.

On tap at Belmont Station. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A nice nose of biscuit and oranges. A clean mellow session brew: fresh oranges and lemons, light toasted biscuit. Very nice.

On draft. Pours a golden yellow with a white head. Nice hop aroma. Citrus, floral hops, grapefruit, finishes a little sweet. Light body, watery mouthfeel. At first I loved this beer but they more I drank the less I liked it. Still a good beer though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Several pints on tap. Mostly clear golden amber with a nice lasting head. Aroma is citrus, evergreen resin and caramel. Taste is the same. Light body is balanced and has low-average carbonation. Great sessioner.

4oz pour at Max’s Hop Fest 2013. Pours a clear gold with some clumpy, white head. Nice nose, chive, orange, scallion, grass, peach tea, lemon. Flavor is nearly perfect, lightly sweet, peach, grass, lemon, chive, orange. Clean, refreshing finish. Arguably, the perfect session beer.

Mini-growler. Fluffy creamy white head, light golden yellow orange. Zesty citrus, orange rind and slight grapefruit. Flavor is dry, bitter, grapefruit and light lemon. Crackery. Lighter thin body.
