COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Citra Session™ IPA is brewed with high-quality Marris Otter and Vienna malt but the flavor is dominated by the Citra hops introduced throughout the boil and again in the dry hop for maximum aroma intensity. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit make this hop-laden brew a perfectly potable summer session IPA.

Purchased a bottle from Craft Beer Cellar, Portsmouth location. Color is clear gold with very tiny head in a shaker. Aroma is mild tropical fruit, weak grass and mild onion.

The flavor is fruit dominate with traces of pine and grass. The malt kicks in toward the finish. Caramel, toffee and cat urine. The body is light with a very weak bitterness. It actually tastes like the Citra has faded here. My fault for buying a bottled session IPA. Here is another example of why it can be bad to buy a bottled IPA. Really should have found this on draft. Oh well.

Tap at el Bait Shop. Thanks Andy for the suggestion. Deep gold colored body with a thin white head. Deep earthy and herbal with notes of dough. Tastes like grapefruit rind and bitter bread crust. Solid.

Citra is a nice hop, perhaps not as intense as some. There is an awesome aroma on this hop slugger - rich and floral, with a little reefer-like quality. The recipe used makes for a lightly sweet and herby IPA. Pretty mellow, and with a good dose of sticky citra.

On Draught
Pours a nice light golden with a nice head & some lace.

The aroma is dank & melon like width a huge bright fresh hoppiness. The beer has just a light graininess in the bouquet.

Lightly herbal & grassy with a big citrus & melon hop character with a nice moderate bitterness. The beer is fairly dry.
Pretty chill

Pours a clear gold with lasting thin head and decent lacing. Aroma is mild citrus, pale malt. Taste is appropriately bitter with a good dose of citrus and some pale bready malts afterwards. Not a bad summer session beer, but a bit thin and hollow. Maybe that’s the intent, but I have been spoiled by how intense Citra can be in other contexts.

Draft at Snallygaster 2014. Poured a clear amber color with a small white head. Aroma was light citrus notes, some light malt. Flavor was refreshing, heavy hop notes, mild alcohol - easy drinking.

Aroma is outstand and full of juicy citrus....orange, lemon and red grapefruit. Light hazy yellow with thick fluffy white head. Taste is lemony citrus upfront that develops into sweet red grapefruit/orange style citrus mid-palate and fades into more bitter grapefruit that lingers nicely on the follow through. Palate is somewhat thin with some light carbonation noticeable. Overall this is one of the better session IPAs I have had so far. A delicious citrus hop bomb that you can drink all day.....what’s not to love?

Clear golden with a thick white head. Aroma is light grapefruit and mildly floral hops. Flavor is grapefruit hops with a very mildly sticky mouthfeel. Clean and crisp bitterness in the finish, bit of a snap to it. Wife: 3.7
