Nice lightly malted amber DIPA. Heavy citrus characteristics in a crisp and smooth finish. Really doesnt taste like 8.5% at all but quite good with the mosaic hops shining.

On tap at Bottleworks, pours a hazy amber with a small beige head. Aroma of rye malts, pungent piney hops, and dry caramely biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with loads of rye, piney hops, hemp and biscuity malt. Very dominated by the rye malts, though the hops are extremely potent as well. Excellent stuff.

On draft at Hollingshead Deli. Pours a beautifully deep reddish-pinkish-brownish color with a lasting light tan head. Gorgeous looking beer. Aroma is a delightful mix of rye, citrusy, tropical fruit hoppiness, with a small hint of caramel. Taste is a good amount of bitterness and tropical fruit sweetness, with some rye shining through, but not overpowering. Well carbonated with a medium body and a lingering bitterness and sweetness. Definitely one of my new favorites. Well played Green Flash. You continue to impress.

Tap at Tyler’s Durham. Perfect after-work pint. Deep reddish, sticky off white lace, small head that lasts. Nose of rye, tropical fruits, citrus, light resin, caramel malts. Flavor is similar--good amount of bitterness, more rye, pithy citrus, pretty nice balance, light booze but overall well hidden. This is kinda what I wish arrogant bastard tasted more like, but I know it’s clearly supposed to be a different style of beer. Like a boss.

For the style, this is exactly what a specialty grain should be. His thing is entirely rye on the nose. I mean, wow, super intense nose. Amazing. Lots of fresh cut grass and hops, but loads of rye. Loads of hops on the flavor and a healthy back up of rye. Well done, with a medium body and a great finish

Really heavy dank hop character with plenty of backing pine and a bit of rye spice. Some grapefruit pith. Medium body.
