On tap at Monk?s Kettle, SF. Pours a golden orange with plenty of? head. Thin aroma. My cheeks filled with hop flavor... which promptly dissolved on my tongue. Faint malts, very faint. Mega-dry. Pretty interesting. Hot weather IPA.

9oz on tap at Yard House Cincinnati, for $3.50 during happy hour. Clear golden-orange color. Good thin off-white head. Nice grassy, piney, resiny hop aroma. Wet, dank, some grapefruit citrus. Nice thicker rows of lace. Good smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Medium-plus body. Lightly sticky in the finish. Nice moderate - stronger bitter taste, light sweet. Good biscuity malt, very light caramel. Tasty IPA.

Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and floral hops. Touch of bready malt. Flavor of grapefruit, orange, bready malt. Dry yet it has a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Oats in the grain bill maybe?

Pours a beautiful honey-golden amber with a thick, fine-bubbled, golden buff head that leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma is hoppy and then some - resiny, a little woody, with a subtle citrus undertone. Flavor is monumentally hoppy - woody and resiny in equal portions, a bit of green-wood bitterness, subtly fruity, hint of sweet malt. Very satisfying. Mouthfeel has average firmness but loads of woody, hoppy fizz. Thanks, Green Flash, for bringing back a damned good IPA!

Tap at brewery (Hop Odyssey Symposium IPA). Pours amber in colour, clear with a thin off white head. Aroma is of grassy hops and slight citrus undertones; pine as well. Taste is not too sweet with a strong but not truly overpowering bitterness. Medium body, good carbonation, and a creamy mouth feel. Nice IPA overall.

Tap. I guess they brought this beer back since it is listed as 2008 and Retired. It pours a clear gold. Light carbonation, but the heavy hop load make this a sipping beer. Lots of grapefruit/citrus is the flavor. A medium bitterness, but not over the top. Unfortunately the aftertaste stayed on my tongue detracting from what was otherwise a very good IPA.
